Like most people here, I've been using the internet extensively for many years which means I have seen some things I'd rather forget but I've also expanded my views, learnt loads about different people, different perspectives, different things altogether.

In light of this, I was wondering, out of all the things you have seen, if you could only give one person one link to give them an edumaction of sorts (whatever tickles your fancy) which link would it be? Please include a brief outlining of why you chose that link when posting.

Personally, I like this (http://www.theory.org.uk/david/effects.htm) link because it forces the reader to learn to not accept every "authority study" at face value.

But this (http://www.wired.com/wiredscience/2009/08/zombies/) one came in a close second, because it might save your life one day.

Edit: No linking to pr0n or to the wikipedia homepage.

Theories with Problems (http://www.thekeyboard.org.uk/), by Keith Mayes.
It's mostly scientific babble, but there's some really interesting pieces exposing common misconceptions (like did we really land on the moon), an introduction to quantum mechanics and an in-depth look at life itself. I find it really fascinating, and he also talks on a wide range of topics like religion, science, philosophy and conspiracies.

Bloom's Taxonomy of Learning (http://www.businessballs.com/bloomstaxonomyoflearningdomains.htm)
Theory about the levels of learning, good for trainers. Its helped me quite a lot.

Well, Encyclopedia Dramatica (http://www.encyclopediadramatica.com), of course. Because you can learn about the world in a regular library, but you'll learn everything you need to know about the internet right here.

Kekeke.

Kekeke.

Insert lighning bolt with old bolt sound effect of the 80's. :P

Anyway it would have to be Encyclopedia Dramatica (http://www.encyclopediadramatica.com/). That's a fun (yet very hoarse) way to learn!

When I depleted Encyclopedia Dramatica I moved onto to Uncyclopedia.
