View Full Version : Batman: "The Dark Knight" movie

Apparently, the next Batman movie will be shot using IMax cameras. This is supposedly a first, as in the past movies made for IMax had their 35mm films converted to the 70mm film after filming. With an IMax camera, however, the movie will be filmed directly onto the 70mm film.

The idea is that the film will be of a higher resolution and ultimately more beautiful to look at. I'm definately interested in seeing how this one turns out.

If it was a different movie i would be watering at the mouth but except for Batmans awesome Gadgets i would not like to see another movie of him for quite some time.

Sadly Marvel has the comic book movies cornered(sorry bad spelling) and DC really needs to get their buts into gear.(Wow me in other words)

I thought Batman Begins was fantasmawesome, to be honest. Christian Bale makes for a wicked Bruce Wayne, and I felt Gotham was portrayed in exactly the way one would want (one, in this case, being me) - can't wait to see what dark places they take this next one to.

Sorry, I feel different. Batman Begins bored me to death, 5 minutes after the movie I forgot what we had watched.

Batman Begins was easily the best Batman film so far. It was stylish and dark - i.e. it was actually a real Batman movie, as opposed to the hammed-up slapstick offered up before then. And Christian Bale was sublime.

Yeah, Batman Begins is by far the best Bat movie, was briliant. Just-just beat my all-time favorite Bat movie; Batman Returns.

Christian Bale = best Batman.

I'll definitely be watching this movie.

I actually enjoyed the very first batman with Jack's Joker, I am interested to see if Heath Ledger can do as good a job in the Dark Night.
