Arcade Stick Advice

I've been wanting an arcade stick for a while. I'm thinking about getting the X-Arcade Dual (not the Tankstick). It seems okay to me. I'm not a pro, I just want to be able to pull off some moves a bit better in KOF etc. The ability to use it on many platforms is also appealing.
I've heard that it does suffer from input lag on some platforms which is clearly no good.
Also, the 2 sticks seem close together.

I've also been looking at the SFIV FightStick (not the tournament edition). If I get the PS3 version, it should work on PC too, right?

Other than those 2, I don't know what to get. Availabilty is a problem for most sticks in SA. Now and then Hori release some decent arcade sticks but I'm not sure which to get.

Thanks, I was looking at those sticks but I didn't see that review.
I have a Rumble Pad 1 and it's served me well over the years and it's what I use but I want an arcade stick because I feel they offer more precision and consistency. Also, the experience is just better (for me).
