Yup, it's out of its cage, and it looks to be a stunner! Only draw back is, you're going to need a mother of a case to actually fit it in! Seems like it's performing really well too! Just look at the Vantage GPU score... This is still with beta drivers and incomplete hardware.
EDIT: Sorry, pics not showing. Just follow the link lazy bastards

Please, do me a favor and try copy the image location into the IMG code... If you get the pics to show, I'll buy you a beer.
That's ridiculous though, honestly. Crysis just doesn't scale at all! Still think it's just really badly optimized and coded.

Pssssssht, I remember back in the day when I got a GeForce2 MX from my buddy for my birthday, and it could play monster truck madness (which I coincidentally also got for my birthday) on max gfx... Far out maaaaan.
It's still in use on our home PC! It's tiny

I feel sorry for the stupid people who went out and bought the Asus Mars GTX295, they must feel like such twits now.

They should've felt like tits the moment they clicked "check-out". Spending R10 000 extra for 4 extra fps? Honestly? You could build an awesome new rig for that price! It's just plain stupidity!

Not just for the extra frames though. My guess is that those people who bought the Mars edition didn't know about the Eyefinity technology, and were convinced that Alienware's curved monitor was going to be the way things were headed, since a lot of people are becoming interested in gaming on dual or triple monitors.

As I mentioned before, the Mars probably was a once-off thing, built for people who could actually make use of it and enjoy gaming at quad-HD resolution, and for those with too much money. It still has some uses, but Eyefinity runs on anything up to six screens per card, and quad-Crossfire HD5870s would add up to 24 screens (not that it's designed for that purpose, but some clever programmer might come up with a way to do it), and you could have a different desktop for each one. Hell, you could run just about every browser available now at the same time on a separate screen. It's really for gamers though, I can't see typing on six screens being very comfortable.

Wow, dude, that's the first time i've seen that monitor. That's pretty friggin epic! Jeesh, it must cost a small fortune (as with most alienware products).
Still though, you could've bought two normal 295s and SLi'd 'em, you would have gotten more performance out and I'm pretty sure that quadHD would still be possible!
