So before Battle Angel Alita (which is to come before Avatar 2), he's doing his first movie-of-a-book: The Last Train From Hiroshima.

It'll be a docu-drama set two hours before the bomb, and then the two weeks that follow it. So we'll be seeing possibly the most realistic nuke-drop in cinema history.

Whoa.

(The book is about both Hiroshima and Nagasaki - as it follows a family, taken from eyewitness accounts, etc).

That sounds very interesting. Anthing WWII related is intriguing to me. We'll get a chance to see it from the Japanese civilains view point and not the American's ones, who always feel sorry for themselves. (like Letters from Iwo Jima, who also let you saw the horrors that they went through...not just the Americans)

I'm also intrigued by WWII, sounds very cool. I'm always up for a revolutionary nuclear bomb explosion on big screen.

On a side note, also very excited for Avatar 2. Whenever its released.

Hopefully he'll take some inspiration from Neill Blompkamp, this seems like his type of movie, being a docu-drama.
