Got a job today after weeks of searching, at the most ironic of all places. A game rental store.
Now I've never owned a console and never really had access to one either. Now I have access to a Xbox 360, Wii, PS3 and PS2 for 6 hours a day for 3 weeks. What console exclusives have I missed out on that i should play?

Why don't you just ask "what's happened in the last 20 years in gaming", geeze. :P
Start at A, and work your way through to Z.

Wait. You're working at a game rental place and you are asking us what games are good to rent?
I get it, you're trying to get us to do your work for you. Very very sneaky Mr FEN1X! :P

Ollie, you do realise that it is entirely possible he's played every one of those games on PC? With the exception of Halo 3, all of those made PC releases.
Personally, I would start with Shadow of the Colossus if you can. That is the game that made me start second-guessing my PC snobbery.

Ah, okay. I know where that is, and I'm kinda due a fringe trim over at Scar just down the road.
Also, you absolutely can't miss Gears of War 1/2 on Xbox.

Wow, oblivious aren't we. To both Azi's comment and the fact that you're obviously 1-console-centric.
Other than Mr. Xbox above here and his decent suggestions, you should try some of the good Wii and PS3 titles like Super Mario Galaxy, No More Heroes, Uncharted 1 + 2, Super Street Fighter IV, God of War 3 and Metal Gear Solid 4!!!

Haha, getting mine done there as well, been growing the hair since high-school but it needs to be shaped.
EDIT= But sheesh? I thought you were a Durbanville resident, quite a commute for hair?

Ok, so I asked myself, "Knowing what I know now, if I had to replay the best games on my 3 consoles, where would I start?"
Note that this is not in order of "what is best", but more, a structured approach to educate yourself
In order of priority is:
1. Gears 1 (Xbox) if you haven't got it on PC, else start with Gears 2
2. Super Mario Galaxy 1 (Wii) Don't play the second one until you've finished at least 100 stars of the first
3. Shadow Of The Colossus (PS2) Really a special game, but be prepared to battle to find it
4. Uncharted 1 (PS3) Hints of what makes the second one so special. Great action adventure game
5. God of War Collection (1&2) - PS3 remakes
6. LittleBigPlanet (PS3) Play a couple levels to get the charm of the game, then play a few more in between other games
7. Uncharted 2 (PS3) Simply brilliant.
8. Deadspace Extraction (Wii) - Only if you've already played the original Deadspace. Else try House Of The Dead - Overkill (which is dreadfully under-rated) instead, or even Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicals. All great Rail-Shooters
9. Gears 2 (Xbox)
10. Viva Pinata (Xbox) - Trust me.
Yeah, there are a ton of brilliant games missing from the list, but those are the first ones that jump to mind.

Nice, I drive past there every night on my way home. I'll have to come check it out. If you are into racing games then check out the Forza and Gran Turismo series' on Xbox and Playstation respectively. Also, if you are into arcade type flying games, give Ace Combat 6 a go.

My sister was watching when I was browsing through this thread and basically jumped out of her socks after seeing this. She's been playing the game the whole holidays non-stop, I tried it myself and it seems to become a kind of obsession until you "finish" it.
Here are some games:
Assassins creed 2, Unreal Tournament 3, Battlefield Bad company 2 (might not be exclusives but I thought they were awesome)
