Informal Strategy at Rage 2010 is staying old school

Hi All

Hope you are all excited and ready for Rage 2010!

I am staying old school this year and looking at two possible games depending on the prize layout. I am taking no chances with sponsored prizes after Microsoft dropped me so badly last year.

I am considering Lord of the Rings - Battle for Middle Earth II Battle Chest version 2.5 knockout 1vs1 competition and possibly a Dawn of War II competition.

Let me know with your comments what you think.

Will have further details by next week.

Dawn of war 2. Will this include the current expansion? and... it will be cool if it's a team comp.

Ooo at last, i would love a dawn of war 2 comp! :D, technically you can play dawn of war with either the expansion or the normal one if i'm not mistaken.

I won't mind playing DOWII :) but do you not need the expansion pack to be able to LAN?

a BFME would be nice... Because I am good at it hehe ^^ but DOWII would be better.(even if I suck at it).
Was hoping for a Starcraft 2 but guess the fact that you must have internet to play makes it hard...
Anyway, anything would be nice ^^

P.S. was getting worried that there would not be an informal strategy at rage this year have been checking the forums every day since after ticket sales. Thanks Nictron, looking forward to facing you guys this year.

Hmm.. Well LOTR always a winner for some good decent time playing. So im in for this, 1vs1 i can see my habit in building such a good looking base is going to be my down fall.

DOW2 sounds goooood, havent played it in awhile. Looking forward to Rage even more now.

I 2nd a C&C 3 with or without KR exp, But Any Comp will be fun, Especially these older games which everyone doesn't play everyday any more. The first couple of rounds should be interesting while people find their feet again.
