My PS2 controller went flying into a wall when playing Wipeout Fusion years ago as the game had terrible glitches. You would take a corner and bump the wall then suddenly your ship would get stuck or fly off into space and place you back 1 lap... yup, it happened on a very important lap. After that there was something inside the controller that broke and got stuck behind the R2 button once in a while. So, I have not thrown or broken anything since :)

No, I internalize my anger and keep it for special occasions.

Almost have. Lots of times. Then I think how the item in my hand costs and put it down. I have dented the fridge door before by punching it. :)

Paid too much for the ****. It'll lose value faster if I just leave it anyway.

I once punched a hole in a cupboard after the cpu scored against me from 40 yards in a Fifa 2001 game. Actually, I lie, I punched a hole in that same cupboard on three separate occasions due to that game. After the third, I stopped playing it. Fun times.

Squirly - I almost swiped my monitor because of your sodding avatar. :D

I've never broken a controller. I'm preternaturally calm at all times. It really ****es people off.

I don't really break things or freak out in general, I have the patience of an extremely patient saint. I just sort of sit there, when things like that happen, and rage on the inside, then I am calm, and continue to do whatever needs to be done.

Years of fixing PCs has worked out quite well for my anger to patience ratio. Smaller siblings work wonders too.

I have broken a PS remote from getting over excited, not from being angry.

Was playing Crash bandicoot on my Playstation 1 and got so caught up in the game that I twisted the remote in such a way that it broke and then the big ball that was chasing me squished me.

Never, I tend to vent my frustration verbally and not physically.

I can sometimes get pretty frustrated with games or my PC, but I've never actually damaged my KB\Mouse\etc.
I do my best to stay calm 'n stuff, though I've slammed the desk in frustration a couple times.
Whatever is left of my anger goes off into a box where it is preserved for the guy that might just push me a little bit too far.

You could always use your hardware for that

I did it once at lan playing quake III and my mouse was failing an in quake III you really need a mouse to "WORK" so I told my friend that im just gonna go outside and **** up my mouse, must say thou the cord adds some pretty amazing angular momentum.

So i didn`t go into a frenzy but non the less I got really ticked off with it

I had a MS wireless desktop keyboard and mouse, but the receiver just sometimes had some moments where it would completely stop functioning for a few seconds - I have to say that I'm impressed it lasted about 3 months worth of beatings before it gave in! I think I was playing NFS Carbon the last time and was busy with one of the leader canyon races.....

Anyway, those bad days are gone, Logitech FTW!

I was playing Fifa 06 on the p.c. (my first mistake) and I had trouble with my keyboard not working nicely so I was in the middle of a match and it did not work as it should when I just picked it up put my boot in the middle of it and snapped it in half. I did feel much better afterwards. :)

Wow, you guys really make me look like a bad person. I'll admit, I have some anger issues but I mostly just gym it off. My PS2 remote has been to hell and back........FOUR TIMES!!!!!! It's been twisted, thrown, bitten, spit at and been called things that I can't mention here. But that was a long time ago, it still worked fine with the only problem being the same as dawid22's. My keyboard has had a few beatings. Other than those two, nothing really.

Probably why my 360 still works like a killer, he's scared of a beating. Ha, ****y little 360!!!!

When I was 8 years old, I would go through a Reggies Entertainment System controller with every release of Rockman (Megaman), but since then I've chilled considerably.

oh you should really ask what have I not broken??

Yesterday (27/07) My mouse didn't want to work I think a wire didnt want to connect correctly and then it'll work then it'll just freeze on the screen. I got so mad i ripped the whole mouse from the PS2-CABLE, Cutting the cable in half.

Also at work my computer is VERY slow. (memory problems) as we have to supply our own PC's they wont upgrade it and I dont have money to upgrade the mem. At least once a day I get a blue screen of death. When it happens at the wrong moment I get so mad I kick the CPU box standing on the floor 3x times.

When I lose a mission or some extremely difficult mission to the computer and it feels unfair I totally see red, I actuallt once attacked my poor keyboard. I had to replace about five keyboards already

i really should go for anger management courses ;)

Glad to see we have some normal people around here. How can anyone just sit there mute while a game is screwing them over and over? Bah! Pacifist rabble...

Several gamepads have been smashed into pieces, either by throwing or stomping. I've snapped a couple of discs in half, once spent an hour cleaning up the pieces that once was a PS2 after it decided to work only when it felt like it.

When i was still in school, numerous keyboars, mice, stiffy drives, mother boards, cd-roms and hard disks saw Pretoria from the air. After they landed, my frustration level subsided directly porportional to the number of pieces left on the ground. Good times.

Costs a lot less to just switch off and walk away untill you are in a better mood. But that's just me. :D

Like I said before.

I smashed my keyboard in rage once.

Poor thing...
I then proceded to remove all the keys and disect it, followed by snapping it into 5 pieces.

My equipment only takes verbal abuse and my fists feel the aftermath if I get up of my chair. Never actually broken something.

I've broken a couple of keyboards while playing DotA.

I also know of a guy who punched through a window when someone stole one of his kills in DotA.

Come to think of it... DotA must be the devil...

What are you implying?

Rebbo_Reformed

Well indirectly, its a funny story actually. I sreamed loudly and my nephew came up to see what had happened, and the clumsy oaf tripped on my wii breaking the stand.

Q-man said "I reserve my anger for little children and the elderly"

Q-man perhaps you should go to a therapist, taking out anger on your offspring and your (grand)parents can be dangerous as (by the way you phrased your words) it seems as if they are both at a fragile age, when abuse can scar them for the rest of their lives.

To be honest, I'll probably destroy everything I own for playing that game.

@ ib3waffle: The most fun I've ever had.
