NEED HELP! Bought PSN game that won't work (DEAD SPACE EXTRACTION!)

Hello everyone


I need some advice. I had the Dead Space Extraction Trial (Demo) on my PS3 for quite some time and I recently got the PlayStation Move controllers. Now the demo works great, the game is fun and I want to buy it.

So I loaded some money into my PSN wallet via codes I bought from BT Games and I buy some games on PSN including the "FULL GAME UPGRADE" for Dead Space Extraction.


Now since the trial is basically the full game but in demo form, it only requires a 6kb size file to unlock it. I bought this "file" from PSN but it doesn't work (I've downloaded and installed it like 10 times now).

It installs via the PlayStation store but the game is still the trial and isn't the full game when I go back to play it.



Also, I'm too low on cap to download the nearly 4GB trial again (I will try this next month).

I'm really not sure what to do, I've never had any problems with PSN or my PS3 before. I feel like I just threw away R140.


Anyone have any advice beyond emailing local PSN support (I don't trust Ster Kinekor to tend to my issue)?

I had a similar problem with Super Stardust HD but it just fixed itself... :/

Are you sure its still the trial? As in does it not let you access all the features etc... The reason I ask is I seem to vaguely recall that although one of my games said trial I could do everything anyways, then an update arrived and sorted everything out.

Otherwise, I got nothing...
