I've played all the other games (haven't finished New Vegas, thanks to a lack of an HDTV in the house), but I'm as excited as all hell for this. Trailer below:

I'm particularly interested in the fact that the Hummer shown in the video is very well-drawn. Do we maybe get cars in this sequel?
Edit: Wait wait wait. Is this a fan-made trailer? Have I been duped?
I hope not. Been waiting for the big announcement for the next Fallout, and SanFran sounds as good a place as any. I want another big city to explore, like DC in F3.
I think that is fan made. No info from any other media?

I'm pretty sure its fake. For starters, San Francisco and Washington is over 4500km apart. I doubt that sign is real with both places on it. Second, rumors are going around that Bethesda is working on an Elder Scrolls MMO and Skyrim DLC so I don't think a new Fallout would be coming soon. Also, the Fallout logo at the end is not the original Fallout logo and 2012 is way too soon. It's not like Bethesda to announce and release a game the same year.

I may be wrong, but I'd say fan made, because I'd expect a far better looking trailer from Bethesda.

I see the sign also has New Vegas on it. If it is fan-made, its very elaborate. I do recall a conversation with a fellow in the Brotherhood of Steel in Fallout 3 that mentioned convoys were moving all across America. That sign may actually be at a way station that transports players into the new world. I recall that the Brotherhood had a major base station in San Fran (http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Brotherhood_of_Steel#Divisions_and_locations), and most bases in California operated independently and sometimes in conflict with other Brotherhood factions. Most of the original groups are in California, so it would be a great starting point for a sequel to the original Brotherhood of Steel (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fallout:_Brotherhood_of_Steel) game.
I also know about the MMO rumours, but honestly I don't think they'd ever have to go that route - Skyrim is big enough for even the most hardcore gamer, and will keep many players busy while DLC is being finished. Early on before 11-11-11, it was mentioned that Bethesda was working on two major titles, one of which was much farther along - Skyrim, obviously. Could the second one be Fallout?
Also, notice in the video that the first car you see carries the official BoS logo?

Gzuz, thought this was for real. My excitement was absolutely crushed :S
I dunno, I think if this trailer was real the internet would be absolutely buzzing by now.
I wouldn't be surprised if an announcement was imminent, though.

I am so upset that this may be fake! I was absolutely shocked when I read the thread title as none of the other major gaming websites mentioned this! What a bummer!!!!

Erm, if it doesn't start with an old-timey tune and end with a Ron Perlman naration, then it probably isn't an official Fallout teaser/trailer.
(Mandatory statement that I'd love another Fallout game. Actually, two, one by the FO3 team and one by the FO:NV team. I just hope the layoffs at Obsidian hasn't destroyed any chance that we'll see them do a Fallout again, personally I enjoyed New Vegas more than FO3.)

We can be two sad pandas now.
Though I won't notice the revenge in between playing Borderlands, GT5 and Dirt2 online :-P

I'm not sure if anyone noticed, but the video you posted was uploaded on 17 Jan 2011. So if there ever was any buzz around it, it's long gone by now.
I also don't think it is an official trailer but I'm sure a bit of searching will reveal if it was a fake or not...
