Mah car is making funni noises

*grumbles* You know when you think things can't go worse.

Well this morning I start up my car to hear what sounds like 30 pieces of sand paper rubbing together in a effort to start the car.

and then I drive her and she makes funni noices

and now the lil thing wont even start

*sulks*

Well my professional opinion is that...its broken BUT dont worry you can drive it to the nearest garage and fix it.

your starter's bust... could be caused by dragging from your clutch (hence the noises when you're driving)

Your car is evidently feeling moody. Thus, as a professional in this field, I suggest giving her a nice firm kick in the <withheld>, and failing that, there was never any harm done with a hammer (Except tht ONE time in the ONE movie to about 13 clueless teenagers).

Shop around for a recon starter depending on your car can be from R400.00

its ok my mechanic is a good man, he found a second hand one that he is putting in for me.
this is the first honest mechanic i know

A wire came loose last year and my car was cutting out

he replaced the wire and asked for R13 to pay for said wire :)

My starter motor was over hauled (and he tighten my breaks and re greased my steering wheel to make me happy
