RedTide was the editor of NAG before James Francis took over in April 2006. He was the editor of NAG for practically as long as I can remember, probably since about 2002 or even 2000 but I could have my years wrong there. RedTide is the CEO and commander-in-chief of Tide Media, that publishes NAG, SACM and Drive 2.0.

Funny story: I actually once accidentally banned the entire NAG office off one of the older forums. RedTide had made a troll account which I IP-banned, which in turn banned everyone including myself. It was quite a trick to get back into the admin panel to correct it.

Just bounce through one of those anonymous proxy's? The worst thing was I was once editing a remote firewall, and did the same thing (blocked myself and all non-127.0.0.1 addresses).. it was a lame way to get back on, had to hack in through the ftp.. ;p
