Am I crazy?

I was looking at the 300 DVD at take2 and I noticed the video format is 2.40:1. I tried converting to 16:9 and 4:3, but then I get 21.6:9 and 7.2:3 respectively.

So basically am I crazy, just doing it wrong or wtf?

So basically if I've got a widescreen tv it'll play as 16:9 if not I've got the option to squash the picture to 4:3 or letterbox it and have 16:9?
