I bought a D-Link KVM switch so switch between my pc and Xbox, because I'm using my CRT for both.
Problem is the switch doesn't seem to detect the xbox when I switch to that channel, it was giving trouble on the PC side before I plugged in the switches ps/2 connectors to the pc. So that seems to be the problem here.
What is frustrating is if I set it to auto-scan then it will show the Xbox picture, but only for 10 seconds before it switches over.
Any advice on how I can bork it to think that there are mouse and keyboard ports on the Xbox?
EDIT: never-mind, I figured it out. If anyone has a similar problem what you need to do is plug the keyboard plug from the Xbox's cable into the ps/2 mouse port on the PC.
