Underrated games?

I'm going with Vampire: Bloodlines... man, I honestly love that game and am playing it yet again. Malkavian wtftw

Nearly all Nintendo DS games. NAG doesnt do much DS'ing (or so it seems) so we never get a feel for how awesome this little system is.

There was a thread for it on the old forums but it died. STALKER is a very good FPS, one of the greats, but it recieved very little attention here in South Africa where we were denied a server. If you would like a server please visit the STALKER forum on games.saix.net and voice your support.

@ SOE and Azimuth - I have both Vampire and Arcanum and I have yet to finish either of them.
Arcanum is cool, the world is awesome and the character system different (really different) but the combat PO'd me. Death could come quick and unexpectedly and loading constantly is never fun. I'll have to give it a try again sometime.

Yup arcanum got bad reviews aswell.
It deserved better.
I finished it like 4 time once magic then science then as a thief first.
And Jagged Alliance 2.

I own a DS Lite and two DS Originals. I review DS games every chance I get - but since the Nintendo distributor ceased to be, it's gotten hard to get DS games to review. It's not that NAG doesn't do much DS'ing, it's that South Africa doesn't do much DS'ing.

Space Empires III. My first introduction to 4X games. I'm still looking for a worthy successor. I loose days to that game if i ever start playing. Pretty much a no-no when you are/were a student

Condemned:Criminal Origins. Also the creepiest game I've played. A prettier version of the FEAR engine, with a focus on melee combat. It's a bit like Manhunt meets CSI, as you play a detective hunting down a serial killer. All the while killing crazed junkies. It even has finishing moves : |

Did anyone ever make a mod for Arcanum to center the camera on player while moving? Becuase that is the only problem I had with the game, too much mouse movement required to just run around.

I would agree with Arcanum. It's really a brilliant game and I came considerably far with it considering my lack of knowledge about things couple of years back when I was a young kid :p . The only thing that disappoints me is the very short multiplayer campaign :( .
