Do you talk to yourself?
How do you find it?
Would you try it?
(I've been talking to myself for as long as I can remember, I find it a good way to vocalize problems and look at them from different angles while they're "out there" instead of internalizing things. The brain is incredibly adept at puzzle-solving, but sometimes it's better to remove the problem from the internal, I've found).

I talk to myself quite often and the co-workers don't appreciate it all that much.
I find it relaxing and helpful when I am stuck with a problem that needs to be said and answered.

I do in some ways maby not exactly the same - I find that when I play some games I do two things at the same time, I will take Froza2 as an example I would be doing a race and while I am busy driving be thinking of the days events and mulling over some issues, but I assume most are like that right? ... right?

I think Miktar is getting at the actual vocal talking to yourself where when you do it you get the weird looks from everybody and they think you are mad.

Its impossible not to talk to yourself. Very few people in the world are capable of actually stopping their own thought flow through deep meditation techniques. Even then, those people are communication peace and tranquility to themselves.
Anyway, all the thoughts you have are energy which translates into creating your reality. So while you might think you can hide your thoughts from others, what you think is what you create in your life...without you ever opening your mouth.

Oh well, in that case, then no. I find i'm more creative when the thoughts are in my head rather than out loud as I'm more critical of them once they're in the world

I tend to ask myself questions, aloud. Co-workers usually don't know if they should answer or not (hehe, they are so funny)
all the time , start to worry when i start to argue with myself though

I talk to myself. If I need to have an intelligent conversation.
Problem is when your lips start moving though... :|

Yep. Especially when I'm solving a problem or making a decision about something. Get more than a few looks.

Most people do.
Change the topic to: Do you talk to yourself in the mirror?
My boss does this before going into a meeting... very funny sometimes.

Indeed I do. Mostly when stressed and/or trying to self-motivate.

I talk to myself almost constantly. It's usually what I do when I'm trying to work around a problem or anticipate a future conversation.
But that's not to say I don't talk to myself idly either.

I absolutely talk to myself. I find driving time is usually the best opportunity for an in-depth conversation, but I'll often just idly mumble to myself during all sorts of occasions.
I talk to myself... Alot... Esspecially when Im bored, I'll talk to myself like I would in any casual conversation. But as little aloud as possible.
Alot. Most of the time its future conversations, but usually is I discuss my pva with myself.
Yes, and I'm smart enough that I can usually get classified as "eccentric" rather than "crazy". Though my goal is to eventually be rich enough to move up to "iconoclastic."

I talk to myself when I try finding solutions or when I measure two ideas of mine up against each other to differentiate.

Theres nothing wrong with it-You can talk your way through a trickey game or puzzle.
Your only crazy if you respond to the comments.
I've solved complex problems by just talking myself into simplifying the whole task.

Only when I'm trying to psych myself up for something and I'm scared, or immediately after I've done something phenomenally stupid.
Generally though talking to yourself in your head is kinda lame... You already know what you're going to say, right? So why bother completing the sentence. You can get a lot more internal monologue done that way ;)

When I'm looking for something.
Something's bothering me or if I have a problem.
Or when I'm stressed out/worried.
'Gawd, I'll fail that test...Why didn't I study...'
Never happened, I swear!

talking and communicating are not the same thing. One cannot not communicate. but one can not talk to yourself, however it is impossible to not talk to yourself during your entire life, since your likly to talk to yourself when you
a)Read a book(you read outloud in your head not everyone does this thou)
b)Solve problems(Maths etc)
c) Write a post(say what your gonna say in your head)
everyone does it, some do it more loudly than other, some keep it inside. It called the <looks for book> ok I can`t remember, but with the advent of languages the ability to communicate with yourself became easier(all my thought are in english).
watch J.D in scrubs
But if you ment outloud so that other people can hear you, then NO.

Same as Dis on this one. If I need to psych myself up, or if I've done something REALLY dumb, I sarcastically congratulate myself, then swear at myself profusely.
If I've been drinking, I've been known to fight with "that guy over there" *points to a mirror* and swear/argue/insult/etc. Does that count?

I think the word you might be looking for is "Intrapersonal" (as in intrapersonal communication vs interpersonal communication)

Constantly. I find that forcing myself to express ideas and problems verbally helps me to crystallize them in my mind. Of course, I normally find some poor unsuspecting soul to speak to instead, but sometimes there's nobody around but you.

Could be a case of Ineffective Coding (basically, not remembering in the first place due to not paying attention), Decay (due to the memory not having been retrieved or used in a while) or a Retrival Failure (when one is unable to match memory cues with memory code).

I don't talk to myself all that much, although I might burst out in laughter if for some reason I remember a funny occasion... I don't get the best reactions from other people. As for other subconscious quarks, I have quite a lot of them, like chewing random objects, including paper, plastic, metal, etc.

I also talk to myself, mostly internally (in my mind) but sometimes aloud too.

Short answer, yes.
Long answer, hell yes.
I do try not to do it aloud when there are people around. And in the car is always good.

You are not alone, I do the exact same things, its weird really. Especially the burst of luaghter, I try and hold them in but sometimes you just can`t. my preference of stuff to chew is paper, `ill chew it untill I get bored with it(or chewed to bits) throw it away, and then take a new piece of paper and start all over agian
as for talking to my self in my head I do it all the time(on a dialy basis there hours and hours of dialogue), I sometimes choose to be alone so I can talk to myself and contemplate, I guess I like the inner me`s voice
