Okay. The point of this thread is to share your favourite webcomic.
Post must include:
-Name and short description (I recommend using wiki)
-and a URL of the comic obviously.
-Your favourite strip or at least an good example of the webcomic.
-Why you love/like it (Optional)
-Favourite character(s) (Optional)
and you can do more then one, but don't hog all the good ones >_<
Edit - and remove your sig please. kthnx.
Second edit: Some more rules:
Please do it in the same order and style as the example
and don't post about a comic that has already been posted about. :|

Example:
Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal (http://www.smbc-comics.com/)
Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal is a single-panel webcomic by Zach Weiner. Like many single panel comics, there are no recurring characters. The humor often comes from leading the reader to think they understand the situation when they look at the picture, but then throwing them off with a punchline-esque caption underneath.
http://www.smbc-comics.com/comics/20070706.gif
I love the humour.

Concerned (http://www.hlcomic.com)
Parody of Half-Life 2, following the life of Gordon Frohman, an imbecile. Highly amusing situations arise, and a lot of comical reasons are given for the state of the Combine controlled world.

Sadly the comic is finished, but I recommend everyone read it at least once. Very funny, especially if you've already played HL2.

There doesn't seem to be wiki entry(but I only tried two searches).

Basically it's set in half-life 2.
The main character is Frohman. He's really dumb and think the combine are great. I haven't finished it yet, but so it tells of his quest to get his combine surgery.
It really is hilarious. I get weird looks at work from lolling.

oops adabot beat me. I was looking for a decent comic.

I'll do another:
Three Panel Soul (http://www.threepanelsoul.com/)
Three Panel Soul is a webcomic made by Ian McConville and Matt Boyd, the creators of the now concluded Mac Hall. It is a comic about events in the creators' lives and in the news, with some gaming references thrown in. This makes it thematically very similar to Mac Hall, albeit with more of a mature focus.

(Nice first Topic, Headshot!)

Lackadaisy (http://www.lackadaisycats.com/)
Lackadaisy (also known as Lackadaisy Cats) is a webcomic created by artist Tracy J. Butler, set in a Prohibition-era 1927 St. Louis inhabited by anthropomorphic cats. The plot chronicles the fortunes of the Lackadaisy Speakeasy after its founder is murdered.

The style of the comic is highly detailed, with cartoon characters that show a close resemblance to the animated films of Walt Disney and Don Bluth. The strips are sepia-toned, resembling aged photographs of the '20s era. Launched on July 19, 2006, the comic updates on an irregular basis, with 34 pages as of June 2007.

http://www.lackadaisycats.com/art/sockdolager.jpg

I'm a huge fan of the art style and the overall theme of the comic (1920s Prohibition era).

A hobbiest comic, by a very talented DeviantArtist (http://ashwings.deviantart.com/), about her and her friends' zombie hunting exploits.
More a continuing story than a separate weekly thing.

VG Cats (http://www.vgcats.com/)

VG Cats (short for Video Game Cats) is a webcomic written and drawn by Canadian Scott Ramsoomair. It features the adventures of a pair of anthropomorphic cats, who often play the roles of characters in popular video games that are parodied in the strip.

Next up is:
pvp online (www.pvponline.com)

The first comic (http://www.pvponline.com/article/1/Mon-May-04?y=1998)

The comic is about a gaming magazine. There's even a troll in there! It's funny, still going strong and started in 1998. There lots of references to games, the older ones among us might enjoy the older comics a bit more, but still worth a read if you're a young'n.

My favourite characters are the basement guys. :)

A Modest Destiny (http://www.squidi.net/comic/index.php)

A Modest Destiny (AMD) is a pixel art webcomic created by Sean Howard. The first strip appeared on January 1, 2003; it ended in July 2005, but as of Sept, 2006 new strips are once again being made. It consists of four chapters: Maxim Saves the World, The Dreaded Vampire Lord Fluffy (AMDF), The War of Fate (AMDW), and Prophecies of the Demon King (AMDP).

The comic is set in a fantasy world dotted with modern mentality and references. It contains parodies of fantasy clich?s, and occasionally breaks the fourth wall.

Shortpacked! (http://www.shortpacked.com/)
Shortpacked! is a webcomic by David Willis set in a toy store. It is part of the Blank Label Comics family.
After putting an end to his successful webcomic It's Walky! David Willis decided to turn Shortpacked!, his autobiographical comic, into a new title.
The strip is based in the same universe as It's Walky! and Roomies!, and features two side characters from the previous comic, Robin and Mike. While Shortpacked started off as primarily a gag strip, with little overarching plot, in recent months plot driven storylines have alternated with the gag strips. The comic also often includes strips that take place outside of the regular setting and continuity, in particular one-shots lampooning pop-culture and comic figures, such as Batman or Transformers.

I'm quite surprised no one has mentioned Penny arcade, (*unless I managed to miss that one*)

I would like to add The Mousetrap to this thread, it's just that I don't really have a link to Jame's site, I'll go scout around for it though.

And not to mention most people read them anyway.

Sinfest (http://www.sinfest.net/)
Sinfest is mostly a gag comic which often comments on society as a whole in funny and satirical ways, and has almost no story attached. It has been running since 2001 and updates on a daily basis, including weekends.

White Ninja

Bad drawings with random (seriously, RANDOM) humour and a vastly intelligent ninja dressed in white.

Doctor McNinja

This constantly leaks of meme potential, it's all so very delicious. Banditos riding Raptors, conspiring fast food franchises, a zombie Benjimen Franlin, and a gorilla Secretary. Recently, Dr McNinja surfed on a robot Dracula down to earth from the moon, while his sidekick and ninja family battled a ghost wizard in a submarine. GO READ IT.

Awkward Zombie

Mostly comics dealing with either WoW, SSB, and Nintendo characters in general. Pretty fun.

Also, has the Perry Bible Fellowship stopped? I remember reading somewhere that the guy was planing on ending it.

He wasn't ending it, merely only updating it when he felt like it. Though, it pretty much equates to the same thing, judging by the amount that he has released since then.

EDIT: Actually, coincidentally, he's actually updated his site with a new comic! ZOMG! It's been ages.
