Isn't there like a speed mushroom Mario can eat or summin ?

Although I doubt it would help against Sonic, and I thought tails only had the ability to fly/hover.

LOL! Sorry, I just found it hilarious that Luigi is basically covered and invisible in that picture hahaha! Coz, I mean, he's always portrayed as the insignificant sibling to Mario, and here he is, amidst all these characters, and still not even noticeable! Hahaha!

Actually I meant Mario has a lot more experience with jumping. That's how he gets coins. Remember?

Sonic will lose too much speed when he jumps.

Doesn't that depend on which Sonic it is? Sonic Rush (DS) Sonic actually gains speed while jumping due to the Trick feature. ;)

As usual, Ninty outhink the competition. Bowser is there to set fire to Mario's backside. I think a Mario with a flaming booty outruns even Sonic.
