I've always wondered why fashion designers create such ridiculous clothes for the runway. When no one in their right mind with actually wear these in public. :/
That being said, I loled. The first one is a killer. ;D

Now I know why models get paid so much. Seriously, people actually design that crap for what reason again.

It's called 'fashion'. It's very much like forum signature images.

Supposedly for the same reasons F1 cars will never end up on the showroom floor. But elements of them will filter down to consumer level products. But yes, silly more often than not.

Sorry Miktar. It was a rhetorical question.
I know it is "fashion" but there is a limit as to how bad you can make it go. It seems the more completely outrageous it is, the more it is worth and likely to be shown. I suppose it is human nature to be attracted to the weird and wonderful and people use it to make a statement. Albeit a stupid one. Look, I look like a fool, yet can blow money on stuff you cannot and will only wear this once just to shove it down your throat. Pathetic at the end of the day.
Mind you, it is the same with computers and modding them and bragging about it. I r de e-peen winner.

Yes. But at least F1 cars look nice. These clothes look crap. :/
"It's called 'fashion'. It's very much like forum signature images" Hehehe, a very good way of putting it Miktar. I see now. ;D *chuckle

That comes down to taste and personal opinion. Obviously not everyone agrees with you as there are some very wealthy fashion designers out there.

If you were a female, would you wear these? Yes, I know there are very wealthy designers out there. :-)

Fashion, just like psychiatry, is an industry that exists only to sustain itself.

I don't know, there are a lot of rich people out there who can't dress themselves and need to have the latest trends dictated to them.
Personally I wish more people would make the effort. I'm a bit of a glamorous snob.

Thank you for your honest reply. :-)
I understand that there is a need to be original and "different" in any industry, but these.......very fugly imo. Anyway, I've derailed this thread from the beginning, so I'll stop now. ;P
