Im really tired of all the mario titles. Dont know about all you guys but theyre all the same since mario 64 (wich was great). I know its the mascot and all but Nintendo is really bleeding mario dry. Well N will always have all there fanboys to support them.

Sounds like you've become jaded. Sucks to be you.
Meanwhile, the rest of us can look forward to a quality gaming experience, fresh and new, yet familiar and solid.
Hmm... is it just me or does it look like Miyamoto was jealous of Psychonauts? ;)

Actually, the 'world wrap' technology was developed back on the N64 already, and it also became a GameCube prototype long before Psychonauts.
The first game to have used the idea in practise however, was Ratchet & Clank 1, I think, a few years before Psychonauts.

Dont get me wrong, Mario is the father of gaming icons. But its still the same old jumping on stuff, punching stuff and catching the mushroom, all in bright vivid colours.

Yes, and? I fail to see what's wrong with this picture...
"If it ain't broke", after all. Something SEGA could really stand to learn. Now there is a company that has totally ****ed up its IP, and driven the Sonic franchise into the ground.

Like I said you can always count on the fanboys to support them.

See, that statement rubs me the wrong way. It's not about fanboys, it's about quality experiences. The reason the Mario franchise is still so strong and popular is not because of fanboys, but because they manage to keep it fresh and interesting so as to continually attract a new audience.
I don't consider myself a fanboy - the word "fanboy" implies blind support, and that is not what I have. If a Mario game comes out that is ****e, I won't buy it. If it's good, I will. That doesn't make me a fanboy, so stop trying to accuse people who support things they like, but you don't, of being fanboys. That's very annoying.
I think you just "grew up" too fast, dude.

In closing: Okay, so you got bored of the platform genre - that doesn't mean the entire planet has.

I never implied that you were a "fanboy", but after seeing you go on the defence so quickly I have to wonder.
Im just ****ing with you man, I dont care if a person is a fanboy or not (Im a Nvidia fanboy, I wont take a **** on ATI), if you like something you like it, no one will be able to tell you oterwise. But Ill still stick about my views on mario.

*shrugs*
You're entitled to your views, and I'm entitled to telling you that I think your views are lame. :P
And you can "wonder" all you want, but I won't rise to that barb.
I just hate it when people are wet-blankets.
Also, I find your statement "but Nintendo is really bleeding mario dry" to be factually incorrect. Mario is nowhere near, or even approaching, being "bled dry".
The last Mario i played was Mario 64 and it was awesome. I heard they said that this is the first real Mario since 64. I will definitely be getting this!
*stiil anxiously awaiting Wii launch*

Nintendo seems to look after their IP pretty carefully, rather than bleeding it dry in the manner of EA. Not too sure about the Mario/Sonic olympic game though.
