Its probably one of my top 3 anime series of all time. Mugen is god! i love the whole hip-hop influence as well. A breakdancing ninja samurai effort.

hmm...I'll have to say Naruto is my absolute favourite, Bleach was good too!!

I really enjoyed Basilisk too.

on a sad note...We got broken into, All my Consoles (all 3), PC, LCD Tv and my ENTIRE Naruto and Basilisk collection and including my brand new WAR game and STALKER and Sacred 2 was stolen!! :( :(

Have to wait to replace all that now.

a show I've recently started watching is Shakugan no Shana (thank you Otaku)
although, for only being on the 5th episode, it's already quite in depth in the story...
it ain't Ghost in the Shell (most confusing anime I've watched), but it's darn good, and I love it

Shakugan is nice, one of my favourites. It had just the right balance of all the elements for me, I actually enjoyed, and looked forward to, the 'non-story'-bits.

I felt the same, it started out nicely and got me really hooked, but then later on it just got boring and it felt like a mission to watch through it. But it ended okay, and it was still a great show, definitely something different. Won't put it up as one of my favourites though.

Yeah, I really loved both. Extremely funny series, loved how they quoted other famous anime's and manga's throughout, and it was interesting to see the lives of otakus over there. Plus it made me wish I lived in Japan more than ever. :P

Fan-subed Anime all the way! can't stand some of the enlish dub's cept well Speed Grapher and Hellsing in english are pretty good but all the rest are just sad, it looses all its meaning in English and some of the Japanese -> English TL's are [lacking/taken too literally/or are just completely left out]

Oh! should tell you what my Fav show is right? :) Well currently watching alot, so Guess it will go:
1] Bleach, 2] Gundam 00 Season 2 then Rosario+Vampire Capu2 & Casshern SINS can fight for 3rd then Shippuden in 4th Ecchi/harrem/romance in 5th and all the rest comes after that. don't realy have a top 10 list suppose after 60+ series I should... >_<

Honestly it doesn't bother me that much, anime feels best when watched in it's original language wouldn't you say? IMO the only show on Animax whose dub is bearable is GITS. Still prefare Japanese Motoko though.

lol, you've got a point there but i was only referring to Jap-anime ;) Never thought for a second that Asteric and Obelix where french an no i wouldn't like to watch it in french or ever for that matter lol :D. Japanese anime just isn't english compatible imo. I remember watching Pokemon and thinking Ash sounds really odd(and back then i had no knowledge of the Japanese machine :D), same for most of the characters. I guess it must be the character design or something i dunno.

Can anyone recommend a series where the protagonist is a bad guy. Something like Deathnote but not necessarily at that scale. Nah, we still don't know much about his Mangekyou, also we haven't seen his face yet. :< Besides, he's no weakling, he wouldn't get killed that easily. If anyone dies, I'm thinking it could be Tsunade, being the only surviving one of The Sannin.

That's true hey, 12 and 26 are probably the most common format, this gets annoying because you can sometimes spot filler episodes on 26 episode anime which serve no purpose for the story other than waste valuable anime watching time!

True, although Code Geass has a lot more action in it (considering Death Note has none, thats not saying much). Death Note has a lot more suspense tho. Id love to know who would win in a chess match between those two. (Only used chess because it is the only fair way those two could fight). You dont realy see Light play chess but Im sure he can (I seem to remember one episode where he played, cant be sure, watched Death Note quite a while ago).

I only watch Bleach , Naruto and ,.. thats about it, then i stumbled upon CodeGeass a couple of weeks back, started downloading the eps, and i must say that it is BRILLIANT!:)

The action, the storyline, the shocking twists, maybe because its only the 3rd anime ive ever watched (and all other anime are of this level of Brilliance) that it really stands out to me.

I'd even go as far as to say that it beats many U.S.of.A TV shows[Heroes, TSCC, Prison Break(S2+)] any day(judging by entertainment-factor).

So, if you watched CG , what would you say compares to it? Ive been hearing alot about Death Note, what else, any suggestions?

I just finished Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann and I LOVE IT. I was actually very sad when I watched the final episode. It was like leaving behind a whole lot of good friends. I sincerely hope there is a second season in the making. I know there's a movie, so I need to try and track that down.

I watched the movie, Its like a stand alone movie, you can watch even if you haven't seen cowboy bepop before.

I haven't watched Darker Than Black as I only got hold of the anime yesterday, but Black Lagoon is very good. There's the first season and then the second season called 2nd Barrage.
