I want to buy a new case that will be easy to carry to and from LANs. I have found one, it is a midi tower case, the one with the handle (old I know, but practical). All I want to know is if a midi tower case will fit a ATX form factor mobo (GA-X38-DS5). It doesnt tell me what size it supports on the website.

Raidmax Smilodon. No question. I don't have one, but if I were to replace my case, that's what I'd get. I think that there are a bunch of people here that have one.

I own one and it is a godsend for a person like me who is constantly opening and closing my case.
You need to tweak the air flow a bit but when it works, it really works :D
My Athlon 5600+ is quite happy inside there using stock air cooling :D

Raidmax Smilodon.
To be honest. I have this case. Whenever I go to a lan I curse how heavy it is and the fact that it's hard to carry.

If it is the handle case I think it is then, Yes it will fit into the case.
But if you can maybe upload a picture it will help us help u, but I am sure it will fit.
Otherwise take a measuring tape and go to the store and see if it fits.(I know it may be stupid but hey you will know for sure)
I say don't go for a case with a handel, rather buy a LAN bag, It's easier to carry and you can place your mouse and keyboard in it.

Not to hi-Jack the thread but where can I buy one of those case bags that you are speaking off?

I bought my LAN bag at matrix warehouse. The only thing I don't like is that it's more like a strap and less like a bag.

Ah, yes, I see now. My apologies, Cha0s (and Azimuth), I mis-read the thread.
Whatever case you do decide to get, be sure to get adequate cooling (and remember that the bigger the case, the longer the cables have to reach)
