Amazing how the blood gets flowing and the idea of playing for ?56 hours on a LAN, over 1500 PC's is mind blowing!

I heard a very interesting fact yesterday, relating to the very first ever rAge!
There were 20 guys at the first NAG LAN!
Shocked my socks off and now this year they are aiming for 1800 gamers on the NAG LAN. Impressive and out of this world!

Well , in my opinion , nothings stopping you from brushing your teeth , and ive seen people "bathing" in the sinks , so technically theres nothing preventing you from getting clean , but in the end i guess you will have to decide if your going to the LAN for girls or to actually LAN , dont get me wrong , i dont have any problems with proper hygiene , but i think you need to get your priorities sorted :-P

Lol, but anyway, I noticed that there was no mention of games on the website.. You know, games that are being competitively played..

Well, how exactly does it work anyway? I mean, do a group of guys just decide to play a game, or is it all controlled, or what? Haven't been to a rAge LAN before, even though I've been trying since the first year!!! This year, it'll be a little tricky, but I just HAVE to find a way to come to rAge... HAVE TO!!!

If I remeber correctly , there are some dedicated game servers , but the rest is pretty much , host a game , wait for people to join , and bam start it and hope for minimum ninja quitters ;)

other pain in the ass is , people hosting games on different versions , but luckily , the VC site has the patches etc , so if some lazy people could just them , and update , would also make things easier . i remember from last year , there was constantly 5-10 Dota games you could join , quite a few COD games going on , and some others .

The "Dedicated" servers are all listed on the VC site if i remember correctly , so you can check it anytime during the lan.


EDIT : Oh , and usually all the "Tournament" type of games , will probably be announced and sorted in this Section in the following months , thats how it worked previous years

Hmmm , if i dont have it wrong , you are given 14 days leave per year according to law . . . so technically you should be able to come to rage :-P

Well i cant say if there is a worst spot.

But at night they don't put off the lights so if you are on the ground floor your pc screen will have glare,but the upper level the glare isn't bad.

Oh I see... I HATE glare when I am watching tv or play, so that's why I put my pc right in front of my window and my light is always off. I could always put a black blanket over my head and pc when playing and look like a freak in the process.

well waht i did at rage 2006: I went all over the expo and entered all competitions that i could find... there were many prizes to be won... this year i suspect amybe a PSP, PS3 , Xbox PC components and games. OFcourse there is also the opportunities to buy NAG magazines and special offers..... :P

I assume you are talking about the yearly NAG rAge video? mostly luck and a bit of guts if your just some random guy. ( With guts i mean , ive seen people doing some crazy things to get on that video :-P) As for photo , take a camera and ask someone to take a picture. . .
