I'll play Crysis exactly when i play every other new game that pushes the graphic envelope....................................at least 3 - 4 Years after the release date. 8)
Hey, i just can't upgrade right now, study first, big money later. It won't make sense to spend big money on a Crysis rig right now.
My newly-aquired 8600GTS is feeling rather sadly sad right now! :(

It depends what resolution you game at. @ 1280*1024 the difference is neglible.

BTW I hope it will be natural but those plants should move in the wind or wjen bullets hit them or so... the game is only as good as its physics IMO

in a interview with one of the developers he sead that he is playing crysis on his pc on max at 1024x768 and his pc is a AMD 3500+ with a 7800 GTX and that was a jear ago!!

Do you think Cysis is gonna need better, same or worse computer than stalker. Coz I have to play stalker on low but allot of other games I can play on high or full. The weird thing is that my friend has a same computer as me but his graphics card is much worse. But he can play stalker oh high with very little lag but I play it on low with a little lag every now and again. But then we get games like Oblivion which I play full graphics no prob but his lags to pieces. I hope the same thing doesn't happen with Crysis I really don't wanna play it on minimum.

Wow. I love it! Just think how much Carmack is going to push his next engine; nothing like a bit of good ol' competition to aid progression. The future of gaming looks particularly good. :)

We all know what the specs are for this game by now, surely?
I've said it before, but I'd be surprised if Crysis shows us something gameplay-wise we haven't really seen before. It's hard nowadays to wow us with something completely new. Let it do the little things really well and the rest will take care of itself.

that may be but the developer in the interview did not speculate about the specs of his own pc. Thay are going to optimize this geme so mutch that it will run on a P2 :P

You do not seem to get his when I said: "MAX for a DX9 system that is." I meant that it would run great, but remember that a pre-DX10 card will not be able to render DX10 so they can optimize the game till their fingers fall off you cannot make a DX9 card run DX10. So if you have a top of the line DX9 based system you will be able to run the game perfectly with DX9 graphics.
i dont give a **** about DX10 im talking to the 90% that dont have DX10 cards and vista

Anyway, those screenshots are amazing. Another game with great graphics is the recently announced is Legendary: The Box. Amazing.
