Thursday 14:00- Friend arrives at my house (I managed to get him to come!!). We update Firewalls, anti-virus etc. Make sure we can log onto Steam without the internet.

Thursday 15:00- Make sure our leech-lists are up to date.

Thursday 17:00- Head to a movie, fill up petrol for the car.

Thursday 21:00- Pack our PC's. Make sure we have everything we need (driver disks, original games, etc.)

Thursday 23:00- Sleep

Friday 8:00- Chill outside, have a smoke or two. "The calm before the storm."

Friday 8:30- Depart for the Dome.

Friday 10:00- Hopefully be one of the first to get in, find a good place, set up.

Friday 11:00- Check out the Expo. Have a snack to eat.

Friday 12:00 to Sunday 14:00- Free-for-all enjoyment of the event!!

Saturday: Arrive just in time for the BF2 comp with a hangover, play comp and scream "Dirty Hackers" cos we are getting pwnd. 21:00 Go so some bar and try pick up chicks with gamer speak.

Thurs 02 Oct: Arrive at East London Airport jump on a plane Fly to jhb. Meet up with a clan mate at JHB airport and drive to another clan mates house to meet up with the rest of my clan. Unpack PC build it back up from flight and check updates Anti Virus etc. Have a few drinks go sleep.

Fri 03 Oct: Arrive at Rage Early. Get inside setup and meet some other clans and players. Continue to play and drink Play ;) and the days begin to melt together into one awesome off the hook experience.
Sun 05 Oct: Pack up and go home.
Mon 06 Oct: Recover from the weekend and that night go out on the **** with clan mates and other clans staying longer
Tues 07 Oct: Wonder why we drank so much while mixing a "reg maaker" And packing up PC again for the trip home. Get to the airport say good bye to clan mates and get on plane. Pass out and get woken by a hot stewardess on arrival back home. lol

Night before the time
Update antivirus.
Pack up my pc and all the other stuff needed for rage.
go 2 bed early I just hope i falll asleep and not stay awake all night cos of excitment.
next morning very early
Take a long shower the last one until sunday afternoon Pack stuff in car then
eat a nice big breakfast. wait for my 3 friends to arrive at my house.Pack some of there stuff in my car.

Get to the dome hope to miss any traffic.Then wait outside until the doors open for rage 2008 get inside set up pc and enjoy every moment of it.

Sunday afternoon get back home take a long shower and then strait of to bed catching up any missing sleep. Monday moring back to varsity.

*setup my gps ^_^
*fill up my car and pump my tires
*buy kfc for the following day (impotant)
*pack up everything thats going with me in the car and check if ive got all my stuff sorted ^_^
*Try to sleep at 10:00 pm (im going to be to G-damned excited to sleep XD
*wake up at 5:00 am
*drive all the way from pietersburg to Jo-Burg while eating kfc ^_^
*hopeflly arrive there at ... lets say 9:00 pm
*phone to find out if any of my friends are already there
*park my car
*steal a pick and pay trolly to unload my car XD
*buy a T-Shirt at the registration booth :D WooT !!!
*drop and connect my pc

and enjoy the hell out of everything and no sleeping untill I arrive back home XD

*pack up my stuff with even more less space in my car with all the stuff i bought
*tie my old empty case with a rope at the back of the car and drag it all the way back to pietersbug XD

On the way to the Dome, at about 9:00AM, I'll pick up those red kettle cables (speaking of which, does anybody know the best place to buy them from?). Made my own last year :P just bought the plugs from Build It for cheap cheap. See the price for them has doubled this year.

Went to rAge today.

Best R40 I've ever spent. Played some Guitar Hero drums, had my photo taken at the Stuff mag stall (lol. That's my highlight XD), messed with some TFU, and lamented once again that it wasn't coming out on PC, and generally ran around trying to pick up free stuff.

My only disappointment was that I wanted to buy an October NAG issue, but it wasn't at the NAG stall (though the old issues were available for free, and there was someone very pretty (wo)manning the stall...) Were they sold out, or were they just not available?
