Transparent Toaster gives you clear view of bread's crispiness

You know, it'd be quite nice for toaster manufacturers to actually grab hold of one of the numerous concepts floating around out there and give the tried and true machine a facelift, but until then, conceptualizers are keepin' the ideas a-coming. On deck is the Transparent Toaster, which hopes to utilize clear panes of "heating glass" that allow you to clearly see precisely how burnt your bread is becoming. Of course, we'd certainly hope some sort of self-cleaning apparatus would be added if this thing were to go commercial, but it ain't a half bad idea as it is.

At long last. This is a brilliant idea and basically needs to be taken, like they said, by a big company and made into massive production.

Harhar, nice one.

It would be awesome to see the toast.... "toast".

Now if we could only get a picture to project on the glass and we can watch tv and watch toast at the same time.

By golly, if I could get my hands on this, I would surely be the TOAST of the town! It has a nice CRISP look to it; so I guess people with an eye for aesthetics and functionality can have both sides of their BREAD BUTTERED with this one. Why yes, these puns are too much to BEAR.

Seriously though, it is rather ingenious. Sign me up.

@Q-Man: Crumbs, that was brittle punning.

@ Miktar: I wasn't bread for punning, plus I'm too busy loafing around on holiday to try any harder.

It's a good thing puns aren't your bread and butter otherwise surely you'd have been burnt at the steak.

This humour is getting a little dry.

PUN WAR! PUN WAR!...

seriosly though... this thing in some ways is cool... but really... who will want to buy a toaster with heated class.... I'll keep to plain old toasty toaster.

I'd want a transparent toaster. I'll never burn my toast again.

WooHoo.

Or you could set your regular toaster to a level that does not burn your toast.

PFFFFFt, what-everrrrr, then how could you possibly be the coolest most awesome person in the neighborhood? The Jones' next door have one, and you, like, TOTALLY can't let them have one up on you.

You need this toaster as much as you need a PS3. Actually, I think a PS3 might make some awesome toast.

But it IS cool. The toaster I mean. I mean, it's not 'cool' cool, as in temperature, coz that would be a pretty useless toaster.

:O

I actually did that, BEFORE reading it here! O_O are you spying on me?

The Xbox is better for making toast. It gets hotter, faster.

Xbox 360 the ultimate all in one machine.

It even does eggs.

If you order within the next hour we'll throw in a free fan.

I would buy one the first chance I get! You telling me you always toast the same type of bread, the same thickness etc etc. and you like your toast the same way that everybody else who uses your toaster does?

I thought as much.
