First off... Yay... my first thread.. :D :D
Now to the topic at hand...
How do you order stuff to eat and drink at rAge? Do they take cards? or is it COD?
This one is for the previous rAgers...

Well, you can either get food at the kiosk in the dome, which i think is cash only, and then obviously the various snack stands will also be cash. I remember the little tuck shop upstairs also only took cash. Otherwise, hop across the road to McDonalds or Northgate for some serious chow.

vjacobie:
Its basically cash in the Dome and cash/credit/debit card at Northgate.
Keep enough cash for during the evenings that way you don't have to leave the dome at night to draw cash to buy teh munchies...

There is an ATM inside the dome, near one of the side entrances - one of those portable ABSA machines (although it never seems to move) if I'm not mistaken. It's always been there in the past, so I imagine it'll be there this time.

Okeeday... one my idea's of the lan has been successfully shattered... I thought you could order from your PC, and then someone brings you the stuff... (I think I have spent too much time on cruise ships and in casino's) :D

You don't have to pay them... work on tips... :D
The organisers could just encourage those in the lan to tip their waiters... :D

I quite liked it, except it costs a fortune. I mean srsly do they really want 4000% markup on everything. :/

That 'pizza' was not pizza. You could probably get better out of a dustbin....
Northgate is the way to go.

Hmmmm, now someone could organise a buisness money making thing, by transporting food from northgate to the entrance of the dome, where people could then nom their food without the walk. Implement some kind of ordering system and have a food delivery every hour or so. There is money to be made in that for sure.
Ofcourse I wont be doing it coz i will be far too busy lanning and I hate standing in quees.
At OC, they had order forms and menus from a local pizza place, go there, write down what you want seat number, and at the ordered time, your pizza would arrive, they would bring it to your seat even. Was fantastic!

How about someone just take a boerewors stand to the parking lot?
They'd make a killing.
