Xenophobe, from the '87 arcade game of the same name way before it became a trendy headline-grabber.

Playing those old-school interactive fiction/text-only adventure games actually bumped my vocab way higher than any of my primary school peers, plus that's also when my irate mother taught me to use a dictionary for all the words I didn't understand rather than incessantly bothering her to explain.

Hierarchy: Diablo 2

I learnt that word from Star Control.

ShadowMaster

I remember picking up a few words from games, especially the old, text heavy adventure games when I was a kid; the only one that really sticks in my mind (for whatever reason) is "Methinks" from Kings Quest 5.

Pandemonium :D

That was actually very cool game.

Well it's a series of words really, but I always wondered what it meant and then I found out, Murder, Death, Kill - the reason why it caught my attention is that it is a title that suits a hectic FPS, not really a game like MDK.

Oh yeah, and FRAG --> Quake I think, but I stand to be corrected.
