The "reboot" series that follows the manga to completion is almost here, and there's a teaser:

They've altered the artstyle to set it apart from the existing FMA series, and to make it match the manga more.

If this is anything like the manga its gonna kick ass!
Looking so forward to this. Bones have been pulling people from lots of other projects to work on this.
Seems like they are putting a immense effort and budget into this.
Can't wait till 05.04.2009 :D

It almost looks like the same art style as Soul Eater, although the preview doesn't show much, I should probably go find some more pics or something.

I loved the original series, I know it didn't follow the manga, but I never read the manga, the anime still blew my mind. If this is supposed to be better than I can't wait :P

Well, they got mostly the original voice actors for it.

Been anticipating this for a while, interested to see how fans of the previous series react to the new series, dubbed the "true" FMA by the creators, and how it differs from the manga.

I always preferred the more cloak and dagger aspect of the manga, but then again, I'm always biased towards manga :P

Chances are, I'll look at this, go "this is so neat", then go back to just reading the manga xD

Needless to say, this anime series will have an immensely larger life span, seeing as it's re-covering events the original anima covered initially, and that the manga is still going. However.... seeing how fast the manga moves through the story line, and how there is now no need for the anime to create fillers, maybe the lifespan isn't as dramatic as I initially speculated >_>

lol pic is from last weeks episode of Gundam 00 during the break. They ran a 10 sec trailer :)

If FMA starts at april 5 6:00PM that means.... no... maur... gundam...? *sad* Guess I will use FMA to fill the slot! :D

If anything, the manga will have ended a few months after the anime debuts. It's really moving to the grand climax now.

I am seriously psyched. If they can take the fantastic quality of the first anime and transpose it to this one, I am going to be the happiest of happy Gazzas.

I am looking very much forward to the new series. And if it is anything as they promised like the previous one it should be win. I loved the old Anime's story line but I loved the Manga's one more.
