Thanks for that one dude, that's the exact processor I'm looking at buying soon (hopefully). It's out of stock though, with an unknown ETA, so I'll email the guys and hear what they've got to say about it.

When I was at Makro on Saturday I saw the have External HDDs bundled for R1499. You get a 1TB bundled with a 250gb. But hurry, it was a promotion so I don't know when it ends.

I'm looking for a 1TB internal SATA drive and a 500gig - 1TB external. Has anyone seen great specials on either of these?

Not sure if they're really "special prices" seeing they're not on special - but PC Zone is usually cheap. Plus I somehow don't think you're in Durban, but anyway.

    There you go.

    Anyone seen these 'Hybrid' SSD's?
I didn't even knew these kinds things exist. However, the prices are really really good.

80% faster than traditional 7200–RPM drives
^ Pretty good claim, though I'm still a bit skeptical about how this is suppose to work.

Well, I can tell you that Super Talent isn't the market leader, that's a fact :-P But most people would be much better off with a cheap 40GB drive from Corsair or a similar brand name. I know Kingston and Intel are making progress in the area of cheaper solid states drive, so I would rather wait for cheaper solutions to pop up. Cheaper drives have ****tier controllers and memory modules, and they probably wouldn't even last you 3 months of heavy use.

Super Talent's drives are also not very good performers. A year-old Western Digital Raptor could easily beat it.

Anyone who wants to go DDR3 should really do it now. Just look at that price, it's a steal! It is a legit store also, I've gotten a LOT of stuff from them.
