I have not seen any contracts with the Pro or Elite consoles. All arcade. I got mine in this manner. However, those were the original XBox arcades, so no memory card & games. I own a Pro console as well, and the only downer about the arcade is that it does not come with the component cables. So if you are not HD ready, the arcade is still a brilliant console.

My friend has the Omnia, hates it because it's touch screen =) I have a SonyEriccson C902 right now, it's a lovely phone but I've dropped it so many times that the back doesn't fit anymore lol =), the only problem is it doesn't let me set a picture for the new Mxit =(.

ATM, I have a Nokia 6234, which I had bought with my first salary way back in 2007...it is still with me but it is dying from various causes, for eg. when I was working on the roads with the reaction wardens I used it as a weapon by chucking it at a suspect like a brick. I'll always enjoy the keypad as it is responsive and my main phone in terms of mxit and opera mini, I like the character support and it's functionality and very LOUD stereo speakers.

I also have a Samsung M3200 BEATBOX-Edition, it is a brilliant phone with minor gripes, like the texting (I'm used to my Nokia 6234 in that way to be able to get all the symbols on every button without having to firstly going into sub-menu's then scrolling and then selecting the symbol you need and then you find the symbol to be on the end of what you have typed when you had been trying to use an apostrophe to show ommision) or the music manager on the phone tends to select completely different tracks and adds them to the playlist instead of your wanted tracks, it only adds the correct ones' if you select them by artist copy the whole set of that artist over and then individually delete those that you don't want/ you add each track individually to the playlist. The speakers you get is pure win...I like to plug in my Genius 2.1 PC Speakers into the 3.5 mm headphone jack and then the speakers you get with the phone into it's mini-usb port, and then I irk the Vuvuzela-Squadron that lives behind me...it also takes decent pics.

I have the HTC S710. I got it for R500 about a year ago, so no official complaints. I haven't used the slide-out qwerty keyboard in months though. Predictive text is awesome!
I can't wait for the HTC Hero to make it's way to our shores. Android looks great!

Nokia E63 review: E for Economy

Samsung S5230 Star review: Hot starlet

I usually find that GSM Arena have very informative reviews and stats pages, much more so than magazines or other websites. I personally don't like the design of the E63 or any phone that emulates the Blackberry's style, because I can't get my head around the mini-keyboard in front of me. The Star is a phone I would actually like, but the LG Cookie is much better.

I'm also eager to give Android a try, but the HTC Magic, which comes with the newest version of Android, doesn't support Bluetooth, a big minus in my opinion since I use Bluetooth a lot to transfer stuff between my laptop and phone. I'd still get it in a heartbeat if it could run Pidgin with the MXit plugin and if it was within my price range.

    HTC Magic review: Practical magic

At least Android is a fully-functional operating system that isn't tied to any one service provider *cough* Apple iPhone *cough*. And its open-source, which means we could expect special-editions to come from different manufacturers, and built-in compatibility with Linux.

The HTC Hero already has a 'special' edition of Android. It's called HTC Sense. Check out coolsmartphone.com, they did an extensive review along with videos of usage over 7 days (search youtube for "7 days with HTC Hero"). I'm very impressed by Sense.

Iv got the nokia 6300 and it does pretty much every thing i want it to do in terms of music, films, games and especially the internet. 1 problem is the battery life which im trying to improve. I think its a really good phone for its price.

Anybody here who owns a Samsung S8003 Jet? it is a very interesting looking phone, want to know some of your personal experiences beforehand otherwise the nokia 5800 xpress music would be my 2nd choice

My brother has the Samsung Star, its basicly the same as the Jet, just a bit fancier :p 5.1 surround sound on a phone... im sorry i dont see the point. It does seem to be a cool phone tho, the Star is really easy to use, as im sure the Jet would be too. Did u check the comparisons between the Jet and 5800 on GSMARENA? The Nokia has a Symbian OS which is cool, but other than that it seems to be lacking against the Samsung.

Oh and im still using a Sony W900i, switchblade phone ;D

SAMSUNG 765i or 675i can't remember but it has navigation which is cool but battery life sucks in nav mode.

I have the 5800 Xpress Music. Which rawks, totaly :) Great quality phone :)

If the Jet was a choice of yours (Heretick) than maybe you should look at the N97 mini. With is unbelievable.

I just upgraded to the Nokia 6710 Navigator. I LOVE the GPS, but the one thing is that the zooming bar beneath the screen can be super sensitive, making the maps/photos/internet zoom in and out randomly sometimes, but other than that, I adore this little piece of technology...

Fantastic phone, that 6710 Navigator. Despite being a "GPS phone" (like, what isn't these days?), it kicks ass in its segment thanks to that beefy CPU that's needed to run the GPS smoothly.

Oh, hey why not: On topic, I'm playing with a Nokia N900 at the moment. It's pretty much the best thing in the world. Basic specs to almost (by a hair) match the iPhone, physical keyboard with slide design, 5MP camera, and a completely open Debian Linux OS that lets you do whatever the hell you want with it. It's like the Nokia Internet Tablet concept, N97 and iPhone got drunk one night and somehow spawned this little fellow.

I've got a Nokia N81. I'm pretty happy with it. I got it last year and it's held up well. The only problems are a crack on the gaming button(which, BTW, I've seen on 3 or 4 other N81s) and the cover for one of the speakers fell off. TodayI tried using my brother's sony x1 and it was underwhelming. The only thing I could do was surf the net...which I do on my Nokia(he had teh same complaint, that's why he went back to his W850i). The phone I'd really like to have is the N97, it looks really interesing, but on my Top up 135 contract, the likelyhood of that happening is so low I've got a better chance of winning the lotto...and I'm underage.

I know, in fact, I'm so new to GPS that I use it almost everywhere I go, even though I know where I'm going, just for the fun it. :D

Did I mention that if you tilt it to the side, the screen changes from horizontal to vertical? Yeah, I love it...
