This is democracy for you in USA.
Watch this. This student gets "arrested" for asking a question to Senator Kerry.

Shame poor guy, getting tasered like that, but damn if he was black those cops would have been screwed, LA riots all over again.
Wow, that's ****ed up right there. I hope he's pressing charges or something, that was completely undeserved.
Ah yes america... the country of freedom! Although they choke themselves to death with their own "political correctness"
Haha. One of the funniest videos I've seen in a while.
"Don't tase me, bro! I SAID DON'T TASE ME!"
I heard someone (towards the end) yelling out, in a wimpy voice, "Rodney King".
Haha, classic.
Anyway, the student was a bit if a jerk. However, being a jerk doesn't warrant force from the police. Having said that, the douche did resist which escolated the situation. He should've just cooperated with la policia. All the smart kids know that. Pfft.

Wow...other people in the auditorium where he was taised just sat there, some whipped out their phones to record...but I suppose it's not as bad as school boys being knifed by other school boys....rather have cops taking things to the extreme than have them not taking any action towards anything at all like in SA.
See.
The correct response while being led away by the police is: "Help help! I'm being opressed! Come and see the violence inherent in the system! Come and see the violence inherent in the system! I'm being opres-*" TASE!
And seriously. Resisting and being loud != taser-fodder.
-D
'It is justification to escort him to the door. Resisting that is what got him arrested. Resisting the attempt to cuff him go him tazed.
The only person who could've stopped these events was Mayer, and he refused to.
I agree with this, he is an attention hog and I would have zapped his ass aswell.
Yeah -but still. Abit extreme -even if a tazer is considered humane
America -The land of the free for everyone except the Natives

Thank the "lord" for the USA Patriot act of 2001... it's provided me with employment in the industry that I work in. however the down side is that if you a US Citizen you can't really voice your opinion or any thing that is against the current government.
It's really scary when voters are not allowed to say their say as it where...

Maybe. But there's also the little problem o 'why are the cops trying to arrest him in the first place?'
Did he attack someone? Did he give any indication that he was trying to blow up the place?
No. He was a jerk, but he was asking what is his right to ask and he didn't insult or threaten anyone. He mentions the secret society that Bush and Kerry were allegedly a part of and the cops get irate. And Kerry even told the cops to leave him.
In the end, the reason for arrest were bull**** to begin with and it's obvious that they're just trying to shut him up. **** that.
