So it's my birthday today and I got a Samsung U700. Never used 3G/HSDPA before. Is there anything specific I have to do to activate it? This is for both on the phone and on the PC when I plug it in. Awesome phone all round btw =D

Install your PC drivers, phone your relevant service provider to activate the internet settings on your SIM Card not your phone, it ships with that already, that is if you haven't already activated your internet settings on your card.
All activated and GPRS is working. Do I have to buy a data bundle to use HSDPA?
Vodacom
No you don't need a data bundle, though it is a cheaper option. Instead of paying R2 per MB, you can pay R189 for 500MB, R289 for 1GB and R389 for 2GB.
No you shouldn't need a bundle. Depending on how much you are going to be using it, a bundle may be advised. *Edit - as i see Xennox just mentioned*
Just go through the following wizard, it should explain everything to you about setting up your phone as a modem. http://help.vodacom.co.za/presentati...12&landingPage
