This thread is as necessary as a walkthrough is for PacMan:P
I postulate that the move to Technology was indeed necessary seeing as we are using technology to access the topic...
I put it in gaming by accident, I thought I was putting it in off topic but I guess I read my tabs wrong...that's if I put this in gaming originally, if I didn't, ignore this.

Plz help my lightbulb don't work
tl;dr
But what about the poor LEDs?! (Yes, I did just start a sentence with a conjunction, bite me.)
I was also wondering about LED's; I want to upgrade but I'm not sure if my DB will support the load? My specs are 4 internal lights, 1 external, 3 double wall sockets. The DB has Earth switch and 3 others. Geyser is gas, not sure if that affects it. Pls help?!
I don't think LED's qualify as lightbulbs... No filaments. Please don't post your ramblings about them here.
You need to be really careful about doing this. Changing lightbulbs, especially to LED variants, is an incredibly dangerous process. Risks include:
- Electrocution
- Glass-related injury
- Blindness
- Explosive chemical reactions
- Decapitation-by-ceiling-fan
- Spontaneous wallpaper combustion
- Spontaneous pet combustion
- Spontaneous bed linen combustion
- Death
- Stubbing your toe in the dark
You should consult a professional before attempting to change any lightbulbs in your home.
I remember the first light bulb I changed. It was a disaster! I was happily unscrewing the old bulb, being careful not to touch the glass and only the metal part that goes inside the socket. I couldn't get my fingers in, so I had to use screwdrivers and had to kinda force the socket a bit wider to even fit them in. The next moment I got an electric jolt and fell off the chair. I guess I must have touched the glass by accident. Luckily my cat was there to cushion my fall.
Looking back, I think I might have to use some gloves or something next time I change a light bulb. Oh, and maybe I should turn off the light first as well. What do you guys think?
