Brilliance
This years rAge was for me a brilliant event, especially the guitar hero game at the NAG stand, I couldnt get enough of it and made quite a few friends there. The lan was especially brilliant this yaer, I liked the fact that there were more than just dota and counterstrike being played, i even had a couple of awesome footy and anime fights !!!!!!
the expo was cool aswell but it felt a bit more empty this year, i dunno if they just used up all the space in the dome and not cut half of it off like last year, but thanx to Wii and guitar heroes I was more than happy to be in the expo the whole day while copying stuff....-_-

I imagine you could put it that way. I designed the layout of the LAN, the network, the power. We (VC) did the setup, provided support and took it all apart again. Thus basically the Open LAN was organized on behalf of NAG by VC. We do however only deliver a service to NAG, and rAge is their brainchild. NAG organizes rAge with the help of a few contracted companies like T2 events, Switched On, etc.
I hope that clears it up a bit.

Just to add to what's been said - great work to everyone involved in making this event possible. My brother and I joined the open Lan this year for the second time and it was great. Next year we're coming with a bigger group and I'm sure the experience will only improve.

Funny enough, so many peeps are planning to go with friends who didn't/coundn't make it this year - so keep a lookout for the date/time for the NAG LaN tickets - it's gonna be a rush. ;)

and who was the dc++ server sitting ??
Sitting was for people that had nothing to do, I was in the admin area at the entrance every once in a while.

I loved the lan and expo , I berly got 5 min of sleep I was at the expo at day and laning at nigth.

Been meaning to do this for some time now... Thanks to Samsung for providing those free t-shirts to those who had Samsung monitors (793s FTW! ;)). Absolutely loved it, put a huge smile on my face... after the shock of receiving one wore off - here's why... I wasn't there when they came by and my buddies didn't say that the black top sitting ontop of my tower is mine (I thought that it belonged to the dude sitting next to me O_o).When I asked, they explained - many DotA games later. ^_^
