FIFA 10 rAge Comp Registrations Open

FIFA 10 is being released worldwide this weekend and the competition forms part of the FIFA 10 launch at rAge and will be held in the Telkom Do Gaming VIP Section, alongside the Telkom Do Gaming LAN competition.
The single elimination competition will be played on PlayStation 3s (PS3s) and will be the first in the Telkom/Electronic Arts (EA) FIFA 10 Roadshow, which will be held in five major cities around South Africa this year.
The winners from each of the five competitions will play in a Grand Final, with the winner receiving a trip for two to the UK to watch Arsenal take on Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on 6 February 2010 next year.
After the FIFA 10 launch event at the rAge expo, Telkom and EA Sports will be at the following cities for the FIFA 10 road show:
Pretoria ? Saturday 17 October
Durban ? Saturday 31 October
Port Elizabeth ? Saturday 14 November
Cape Town ? Saturday 5 December
Venues will be confirmed soon. Registrations for each event will open on Do Gaming prior to the event being played. Please note that gamers can only enter one event per person.
Gamers entering the FIFA 10 competition will need to purchase a rAge expo ticket or be in possession of a rAge Open LAN ticket. Entrants are welcome to go to rAge on the Friday night to practice on the PS3s for the competition, which starts on Saturday.
Participants who have not registered online can register at the competition and will be given the option to any unclaimed places on a first come first served basis. However, players are strongly advised to register online as these entrants will be given preference.
Online registrations will be verified at the event (at the Do Gaming VIP entrance) between 9am and 9.45am on Saturday 03 October 2009. The competition will then kick off at 10am with the finals being played at 4pm.

?Extra time of two 1-minute halves will be played in the event of a draw after regulation.
?Penalties will decide the winner if after extra time the scores are level.
