The Night Before rage...

[Cleric]

Twas the night before rAge, and all thru the house;
No peripheral was stirring, not even a mouse;
Cables were laid into rucksacks with care,
Game collections packed, hoping to play each one there.

Gamers were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of DotA* danced in their heads;
In a varsity extra t-shirt and Intel-brand cap,
asleep in a pre-emptive long-weekend nap;

When outside the window arose such a clatter;
Was it chainsaw or machine-gun? Does it matter?
Away to the window he flew with a flash;
To see Marcus Fenix, in his trademark head-sash.

The moon shone of the blood on the 1080p snow;
Gave the lustre of Unreal-rendered armys below.
When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,
But a Baird and a Cole and an EmoDom sneer.

They were chasing a meatflag, so lively and quick
I knew in a moment "This stranded's a ****"
Drag him to a glowing ring they did;
But then they looked up, and saw where I hid.

I awoke in a fever, and feared for a time;
But as the dream receded I knew I was fine.
The dawn had just broken, the waiting was done;
I rushed to grab breakfast, the time had finally come.

A weekend of combat, and pwning each n00b
Was finally upon me, the waiting was thru.
I leaped in the car, and drove to the dome
To congregate with fellow geeks, a people I call my own.

Was it chainsaw or machine-gun? Does it matter? its cool but i rate "or machine gun chatter?" :P but otherwise nice one... and the only complaint i got is how fing hard can AGASA make it to find there parental consent form honestly :|
