Default [Solved] Routesentry and Win 7

I have been trying to setup routesentry on windows 7 using This as help but it doesn't work at all for me, anyone know a surefire way to make it work? Otherwise it's back to xp for me. :/

Edit - I did the ip check that they recommed on the site and it worked when I tested it, but my usage is only 500meg of 10 gig on local and 4 gig on international (I bought 2 gig very unknowingly). then I tested it a few minutes ago and both was the same (meaning it doesnt work) after I switched a few things it now works again. I'm very confused.

Hey guys for those of you who uses route sentry and installed the new Windows 7 RC here is how to set it up:

Thanx goes to Stroebs on the MyBroadband forum:

It's confirmed, RouteSentry most definitely works on Windows 7. I am using it now

This is how t: (I am using two PPPoE connections within windows and NOT a RASPPPOE connection)
BEFORE you do anything: run regedit, hit F3 and type in: "wanendpoints" and only look for keys (IE: untick values and data) and TICK the match the whole string only box. Go to THIS PIC if you're having trouble.
For every key you find, modify it and change the 1 with a 2. If it already has a 2 and/or you've put a 2 in already, hit F3 again until it pops up with a dialog box saying: "Finished searching through the Registry". Restart your system.

    THEN:

    1. Went into my router's settings and made only ONE bridged connection

    2. In Windows 7: Network and Sharing Center > Set up a new connection or network > Connect to the internet (Wireless, broadband or dial-up) > Create new connection (only if you already have an existing connection) > Broadband (PPPoE) > Typed in Username & Password & LOCAL/INTERNATIONAL connection > Let it test and connect to the internet.

*NB: You have to set up two connections: One Local and one international

    3. Network and Sharing Center > Change adapter settings (on the left-hand pane) > Right click on LOCAL connection > Properties > Networking tab > Internet Protocol Version 6 AND 4 > Advanced > UNTICK "Use default gateway on remote network > Click the "OK" box three times.

*NB: ONLY do this for LOCAL connection!

    4. Open RouteSentry as Administrator > Choose your international and local connections > connect both.

The routing table should've updated automatically as soon as you connect both connections.
Look in the log tab for:
    Code:

    02/05/2009 19:56:10 Creating routing table
02/05/2009 19:56:10 Finished creating routing table

    If you see:
    Code:

    ERROR: The operation completed successfully

    It is not working properly.

Make sure you have done all the steps correctly and if it still doesn't work, UNTICK Internet Protocol Version 6 from both of the International and Local connection's properties.

If it still doesn't work after this, make sure that in RouteSentry, the connections will both be automatically reconnected if there is a disconnect and just click the "Disconnect Local" button. It will disconnect and reconnect and the routing table should set up correctly.
