well i got caped and thought well now i can play episode 2 and portal as i already updated them and evrything and then it tells me game is not availibe in offline mode but i can go into TF2 who's smart idea was it to make the SINGLE player games unavailibe in offline mode but you can go into the multiplayer?
I've played Half-Life 2, Episode One, Episode Two, and Portal offline. So there's something wonky with your Steam installation.
I've been able to play all the games in offline mode so far without major problems *touches wood*... maybe the "Don't save account credentials on this computer" box is checked? Sorry if you this is already know to you and totaly unrelated :)
However I have had a few niggles in offline mode...like I have completed all the achievements for Portal yet the Advanced Map ones (Cupcake, Fruitcake etc, which I completed while offline) show up as Unattained on my SteamID page. Any tips? Or wait for Steam to update? :D
Anyway I love the fact that everyone loves TF2..makes me feel all warm and squishy :)

I teamed up with Firefox for a few kills with a heavy and medic.
Leathal combo.
Anyway~If anyone is having import spray issues. They need to be in VTF mode.
Google 'vtfedit' and import to VTFedit, save as VTF, import using TF2.

(btw its not meant to attack you cYn) One thing that really gets me is when people say we need medics, medics, medics and come heal me now! But never return the favour.
I hate it when people spam the Medic key, but then a) don't defend their medic or b) don't *notice* where the medic is or c) run into trouble thinking they're invincible.
We had a few excellent rounds on the IS server last night. I'll be cruising over there again this evening, around 9 or so, if anyone cares to join me.
I totally agree Miktar, I played medic mostly last night and I got more kills with my medigun than most of the heavys :P
Why not the SGS which is far more stable?

In related news, I have begun proceedings to acquire a DSL line. Until then, however, it's the IS server for me. Well, until next month when I'm in London on 8mbps cable, anyway.
SGS is either a) always full or b) always full or c) full. :P
