The Steam group is for NAG fans. Nothing to do with clans.
The gay. tag is to make fun of idiots who have actual clan tags.
We're basically saying, "clans are gay".
We don't always play together on the same team, that's not the point. We play together in the same server to have fun - I don't care who's on what side.

So what you guys are saying is that clans are gay and useless and utterly pointless? Well I think that depends on the actual clan and not the clans in general. Some clans are cool, others are not

Sometimes I feel so hopeless as a medic.
Scenario: You heal a certain guy and then you spot a Demoman (an example) approaching. Your 'buddy' doesn't see the danger. You need to use VoIP to warn the 'buddy' but the PC sound like a frikken jet-engine so people can't hear you. There is no way to type fast enough... What do you do?
A) Save your own skin,
B) Be a loyal medic and stay with 'em till he/she/it/you die,
C) Hope the person notices the danger,
or D) something else (suggestions please!)

Its not like we were stacking or anything... :P but it was great fun!
The sad truth is that the majority of clans are overconfident, rude losers who only care what's on the scoreboard.
Secondly, I think a TF2 competition at rAge is possible, if not already planned.
Truth be told, I'm not sure. I tend to think by the seat of my pants. Sometimes I'll try to bonesaw the offending demo, since they're horrible at CQC.
Most of the time though, I seem to die. Then I just go heal someone else, instead of the idiot who has no battle awareness. :P
I think Valve made TF2 not with clan's in mind, and thats good :P I hate stats/rankings (Personal stats are cool, though).
TF2 is only supposed to be a fun fragfest :)
