I played it a bit earlier while I was downloading 2 patches for CoH. It (and Banlam) hurt me and my ping.
I was pulling a ping of 300 when noone was even on voicechat.
ok so i suck at this game and want to fix it by getting to know the maps, the prob is that there is commentery icons every where (when i start my own server) how do turn it off.Im a TF2 n00b :)

Didn't you go to the developer commentry maps? There are no comm tracks if you create a lan map.
Edit - If your new don't join an online server with a clan member playing, especially verve, t51, element, etc. :P

I'm not certain, haven't really played TF2 much. Gonna start tonight.
If you start a normal lan game, according to what I know there is not supposed to be commentary, I think he started the wrong game as per my previous post.
There is a setting for VOIP in TF2, you just need to find it.
Aesir, your voice took me by surprise but not as much as a kids. He is a clan dude but must be 7 because he told us to do something and my character froze as I fell of my chair laughing. Damn kid took me off guard. It was such a high pitched voice.

Oh, and you bloody people shouldn't talk about how a car hit your brother's friend's grandma's dog 2 years ago in the heat of battle! My ping hit 400 when someone talks more than 2 seconds or more than one person does. Not pointing aaany fingers.

You did once but the enemy attacked from the side, they killed you but I didn't notice, I ran in and they killed me aswell. :)
What irritates me is, A couple times there has been what sounds like a young Middle Eastern guy joining us, has a relatively high ping to match. He comes on and starts speaking <insert Middle Eastern language here> to all of us. Then when we eventually got him talking English, and I shot him to check if he was a spy, He shouts at me for shooting him?

i finaly got the orange box :D (hell i got it just for tf2 >.>)
and so i merrily found out what my steams account was then retrieved the password then bam install time.. then update (now its killing me the waiting) and BAM its done go on dam server is full (guess its not too bad need to learn abit about the game first) so hop on the empty server get to know the game abit then omg there are ppl on a server jump on it. yay now i get to play and . . .
OMG its sooooooooooo ****ing awesome i love this game its almost too much fun best fps multiplayer ever hell even best multiplayer ever |,,|>_<|,,| (yes it does rock that much) (and if no one realizes in Karuji ingame too :) ) *the only thing that annoys me is when ppl realy cant say my name (say it like the japanese would, ppl)*
