What Level Of Gamer Are YOU!
OK I just wanted to know what level of gamers we have here at the NAG forums, soooooooo I designed a kind of level system. Im guessing most people are 3 and 4 and no one is 1 or 5.
There are 5 levels:
Level 1 = Total n00b
You have a PC (thats all it is to you). You know how to switch it on and install games.
Your nick is your normal name.
In a FPS you can move your cross hair and click your mouse to shoot, but you insist on using the arrow keys and not WASD to move. Your lucky if you can kill your opponents but get knifed by the easiest bots. You can only use one gun, the UBER POWERFUL 1 SHOT 1 KILL SNIPER RIFLE!
In Strat games you need to play the tutorial a few times (but even then your still confused) and play the campaign on the easiest difficulty, but you still need cheats to help.
At the one time you played multiplayer your kill/death ratio was 1-10, but it was a fluke shot and the guy was on 10 hp, and in the dota game your teamies begged you to leave cause you kept on getting killed by neutrals.
As for LANs, WTF is a LAN?
Your gaming knowledge is derived by what you see in the shops.
Level 2 = n00b
Yous still have a PC, but you know it has a graphics card (but you dont know what type)
Your nick has evolved to be slangish ie: if your name was Jim its now Jimmy
In a FPS you have grasped the concept of WASD but you still stand still when someone shoots at you. You dont get knifed as much and sometimes get a head shot (but still by fluke)
Strat games are still on easy, cheats are only used in desperate situations and the tutorial is only needed to be played once.
Multiplayer is still not your thing but your kpd is 1-4.
You finally got invited to a LAN, but they had to set your IP address and create a network con for you. + you didnt leech cause you didnt know you could.
Your gaming knowledge is more than your girlfriends.( sorry had to be sexist here)
Level 3 = A Gamer
Your PC has decent specs and can play games on medium setings (you know the specs but are too scared to fiddle (heres where Incredible helps you out)
Your nick is also new with a cool name that sounds like a gamers name.
In a FPS you strafe and crouch when shooting. Headshots are more common and even the occasional knife here and there. You still quicksave often in solo.
Strat games are played on normal with no cheats.
Multiplayer is fun and your kpd is 2-1
Youve been to a few LANS and dont need help with setting your IP. Wow you gottalot from leeching.
You subscribe to NAG but your gaming knowledge is limited.
Level 4= L33T Gamer
Your PC has lights and is a pretty powerful rig, you are proud to say you built it yourself and only ever need help when stuff goes seriously wrong.
Your nick now has numbers in.
In a FPS you use the number keys to change weapons and your hand muscles are trained in combat of all weapons + you get tons of headshots and knife kills.
Strat games are a breeze, you have multiple bases and have downloaded strategies for different situations. You play on hard difficulty
Multiplayer is the real fun bots are too easy, your kpd is 6-1. You are also in a clan.
At LANs you help teh n00bs with IP probs and people leech from you.
You know whats what in the gaming world.
Level 5 = Beyond Godlike
Your PC has 4GB, RAM 8 CPU Cores, 8800 Ultra X2 in SLi, 2TB HDD and looks like something from outer space. You can fix any prob.
People know and fear your nick.
In a FPS you never die you have natural HAX.
In a stat game you have multiple bases, all resource spots before you opponent has built their 1st barracks. You invent the online strategies
With your 4Mb con you PWN all online. You are the clan leader, but YOU are the TEAM.
You know everything in the gaming world. Miktar is a n00b compared to you!
