It will start in the US on the 17th July........this idea is very appealing but obviously will not work here in SA at the moment.

I was in the Beta. You can not imagine how utterly crap the lag spikes are.

Also, buffering.

That was on a 4MB line.

Funny - I tried to sign up, and it said "sorry, anything less than a 5MB line, we can't accept applications".

Yeah, they've never been secretive about the fact that it needs a really good line.

I've heard that it works surprisingly well if you can use it. Not as good as proper gaming hardware, but potentially ideal for really casual players.
