I drink about 1.5-2l water a day otherwise my body get's f****d!
Plz tell me that water is allowed. You can even sniff it to confirm that it is not Vodka or any type of alcohol. Water is a human right, but you never know. People are greedy and love to dry the consumer. We all know rAge staff are awesome! So is it allowed??![]()
Its not nag's decision, its one of the domes rules and it sucks.
The previous years you were allowed to take water bottles in and fill up in the bathrooms as far as i can remember
"My friend is using a 1100watt psu but an LED screen...will he get in??
And can we at least bring a drink or two...water maybe "
Not sure whether he can since I do not know his physical ability nor the state of his hydration. He will however be allowed should he make it to reception with a valid ticket.
Unfortunately the rule regarding foods and drinks are not our design. As the result, I suggest that you buy water inside (or a coke) and then fill it up in the bathrooms. No rule against that. Please ensure that if you buy drinks etc at the show, you need to bring it in directly from the expo. If you bring it in from the outside through the registration entrance then we will not allow you to bring it in.
Build-up in three days.
do you need to be there early or can one be there at say 10.00
Hi
I would like to know if the lan cables are going to be cat6?
No Gigabit cables, but the backbone uplinks will be running at 1GB/s
I just got a question i need an answer too, i know the rage staff might not see it because they setting up and wont be coming online until after rage, but maybe someone can answer it for me anyway, my girlfriend is coming with me to rage (our 3rd time going) and she got a new power supply a few days ago, the power supply comes from overseas, so the connection that plugs into the powersupply is different to the connections we have in South Africa (its not the red plugg connection its the other side of the plug, the side that pluggs into your powersupply) is that going to be an issue when we get to rage, because i know from previous years they plug that connection into your power supply to test that it doesn't trip the power or something like that, but if they dont have the same connection they wont be able to test the power supply when we get there, Anyone know if they will have a connection like hers or if she must just use an old power supply!?
I dout that they will hav an overseas connection at rage. The safe bet might be to take the new one and the old one just in case cos u can always swop them.
OK. I read the main post, and honestly it's a tad too long. I've seen previous Rage expos on your wonderful DVDs, and wanna attend this year's.
I only want a day pass though. So I see that it will cost R80 for a day, but the parking issue is a bit confusing. Am I right in saying that only those who buy weekend tickets from Computicket will be allowed to park their cars at the parking? Will we day visitors get another parking spot elsewhere? And the handing the security the Computicket slip sounds confusing (I'll buy the ticket at the entrance right? So I won't have one while looking for parking space). Do we pay for this? Please anybody answer me. I don't need a weekend ticket since I just wanna see what happens at Rage, and can only go on Saturday... with my busy life :(
Oh and so we have to pay for parking? Please anybody answer me.
There is regular mall parking at Northgate that you can use.
Oh OK. Thanks a lot, Cleric!
okay, ive gone through the whole thread (mostly) and couldnt find my question anywhere...
so here goes:
i pinched a nerve in my lower back earlier this year, and have subsequently taken my own chair to all the lan's ive attended since.
would it be okay if i brought my own chair through? its not the type to get in anybodies way, but just has some padding and is shaped to support my back.
