Agree with you to some extent here ...

If SC2 and SupCom2 had LAN multiplayer there would be no issue ... but there isn't
So If there is a way to host and play the game at rage against fellow players sitting in the dome - or playing it in an organised competition(like the informal strategy comps hosted normally by Nictron).. then I'm all for it .. but there is no way I will sit at the dome and play against somebody in the UK ...

Alot of people are happy that there will be an Internet connection as they will be able to play the games they like.
DreamHack also has internet connection for over 10 000 people on their network.

alternative is that you can sell your ticket to somebody that wasn't lucky enough to get one.

Hey those were just the games that you guys said you will be jaming at rAge some guy ask for a list so he could go do his xmas shopping earlier. I agree with Miz3r counterstrike died when COD4 came out and I have not seen a CS game at rAge for some time. No NeoN Cleric's threats about murdering Dota players fell on deaf ears Dota is still on the polls and is tied with COD5 for second place.

Quite so. But to play,you still need to be online.
Note: THERE IS A LAN OPTION FOR DOW2 & Expansion Pack (Chaos Rising).
