Anyone up for some Serious Sam HD (1 and 2)?
Great, hit me up on one of the DC chat servers and we'll make a plan. (also got the Steam versions)
Uhmmmmm, why is Starcraft 2 not on the list? :D Since James did say there will be internet for games I am sure SC2 will be played.
As far as I understand SC2 can not be lanned and requirers battle net to play any form of multiplayer. Thus you will probably not play against people in the dome and since there will be 2080 lanners the ping will be greater than the great wall of china.
As Far as i can understand this is the same problem with BFBC2,as there is no LAN support.Correct me if i am wrong though
Tank: there will be an internet connection which is why I said that we can play it prolly.
Yes but Im saying unless people at the dome make an effort to play against other people in the dome, like organising matches or something, then chances are u might play against frikie in Vereeniging.
The chances of playing Starcraft is gona be as good as imposible as far as im concerned. As Tankiouse said. Because there is no lan option, unlike the other games like those on steam. You just need internet for validation on them, but Starcraft 2 needs permanent connection which = ping + 2000 lanners= MASSIVE ping. Thus rendered useless 10 to 1.
I am extremely certain that a comp will be hosted with a separate internet conn. But yeah whatever happens we will see.
Not really. Since I know that internet will be provided just not sure how stable it will be for playing SC2.
Well sorry then since I thought they would be using it for SC2. But I guess I may be wrong in that SC2 is going to be played.
