Waiting anxiously for the new villain . . .Could this be our first look at Arkham City's box art? Could Arkham City feature an Online Pass?
As well as giving us our first glimpse at Arkham City's sleeve, the blurb makes mention of the Batman online pass, which will allow players to access certain features of Arkham City.
This would not be the first time WB have released a game with an online pass, Mortal Kombat, released earlier this year, required such a pass to access online features, according to the small print gamers buying Arkham City pre-owned or second-hand will have to pay a little extra to get a Batman online pass, gamers buying a mint copy of the game will have a one use serial code included within the packaging.
It is implied that without the online pass, gamers will be unable to play as Catwoman [WTF] in the challenge rooms, and possible more.
Please note that this sleeve is not confirmed.
Arkham City’s GTTV show finally aired last night and boy did it not disappoint. GameTrailers stuck to their word and revealed an all new villain, gadgets and some awesome new gameplay.
Amongst the new gadgets are:
Freeze Blast - This gadget allows you to freeze your enemies, judging from the gameplay shown it can be fired from a great distance. Allowing you to tactically target your foe and fly down to take him out with ease. The gadget can also be used when trying to cross water, GameTrailers show Batman standing on an ice platform and using the Batclaw to latch onto objects in the water, allowing him to move him self around.
Check out Bats using this gadget in the video below! But be warned, this video contains cut scenes from early in the game. If you don't want to be spoiled we suggest you avoid this video.
Deadshot will be part of a side mission where Batman tries to figure out who is on Deadshot's hit list and how to stop him. He will be missing some of his gear because he needed to sneak into Arkham City as a thug.
Batman: Arkham City's recently revealed side quest "Shot in The Dark" features villain Deadshot and will have you hunting down his trail using your detective vision. Here's a few HD screencaps to tide you over till release day.
Worlds greatest detctive!!!

Everyday more awesome news is comingAccording to Game On's interview with Rocksteady's Paul Crocker we won't be seeing fan favourite Scarecrow in Batman: Arkham City.
"In Batman: Arkham Asylum we had the whole Scarecrow thing, and we didn't want to do that again we wanted something different." - Paul Crocker, Rocksteady Studios.
It seems Rocksteady may have something else up their sleeve in terms of delivering a similar surprise. But are you disappointed that there's a chance that the infamous Dr. Jonathan Crane won't be showing his face within the city limits?
I need these
The first of Series 1 of Arkham City action figures have been officially announced.
Welcome to Arkham City, the new maximum security “home” for all of Gotham City’s thugs, gangsters, and insane criminal masterminds.
Set inside the heavily fortified walls of a sprawling district in the heart of Gotham City, it’s filled with the most murderous villains from DC Comics’ Batman universe. But Batman is ready to tackle it with all-new gadgets and his greatest—and most dangerous—allies. Which is good, because he’ll need all the help he can get for his journey into the darkest corners of Gotham.
Among those he’ll encounter:
Tim Drake battles crime as Robin, delivering punches (and signature quips) to aid in the Caped Crusader’s mission to shut down Arkham City.
In a nice new outfit, Harley Quinn has taken to the front lines to personally fulfill the Joker’s sickest wishes of mischief and mayhem. She’s not going to let anyone get in her way—least of all Batman.
Based on the upcoming blockbuster video game published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, developed by Rocksteady Studios, and licensed by DC Entertainment.

A message from BAC's Game Director
Hi all,
The big news from Rocksteady is that Batman: Arkham City has now gone gold.
Thanks to everyone in the community for your continued support - it made the late nights and weekend work easier knowing you were behind us all the way.
I'm really proud of the work the team has done - I'm sure you're going to enjoy it too.
Now the team are focused on finishing off some really cool DLC but the main news is... Batman is back!
Enjoy!
