Got the steelbox one, as where the one Darkprince has, has a 3D effect thing going on.

@Gammaray, what do you mean? :P Wish you took a extreme close-up shot of your BAC dvd case. I would try to masturbate to it (Just kidding).Got the steelbox one, as where the one Darkprince has, has a 3D effect thing going on.
I'm super excited about the game!!! Waiting for the PC version which will be released on 18th of November (The same day I write my final exam paper).

I'm so exciting! going collect at BT-Games in hour that I've pre-order. Have a Batweekend people!
Oh yeah, I get it. Cool :P
Hey buddy, long time no see :) Can you confirm for me that the game is 100% deaf-friendly? (ie. the ability to turn ambient/cinematic subtitles on).
(My dear lurkers, bet you wonder why... I'm deaf)
Enjoy your weekend :P

Now I'm getting a bit scared after reading about the CE missing items, I really don't know how are they ever going to give you back the items, perhaps they'll hand out free dlc's or something. WB are really screwing up . . . a lot.
Those who are fortunate enough to already have the game, did it come with the Catwoman activation code? if 'yes', does the code work?

The Official Batman: Arkham City Game manuals (XBox-360/PS3/PC version) (.pdf)
After reading the PC version manual, I'm glad to know that the game has the option to turn subtitles on :")
Also got the pre-order steel box today, but I got rid of the plastic cover, the plain silver looks much more "stylish" to me. Love the build-up of the intro, and the controls are soooo smoooth! However, I only played for about 30 minutes, because The Bat will have to wait until I'm finished with the new Ace Combat....
Edit: Got the Catwoman activation code, but sadly I don't have X-Box Live....(sniff)
Was just reading some tips [kotaku] for playing BAC and something really hit me offguard and made me feel nausea
Please, dudes who have the game, tell me this is not true[please]. Cauz if it is, I sadly will never ever manage to play as one of the most sexiest fictional characters ever created.2) Get that Catwoman DLC, and get it before you start. As we've noted, the ability to play as Catwoman is available only once you download about 200 MB of data. Do that before you start, because it will affect how the game begins. The new Catwoman intro isn't great, but her later missions are good (plus, she's fun to play as, as you can see here). You can get access to the Catwoman content by redeeming a code bundled with new copies of the game, though some retailers may give you a code even if you buy the game used (and, if not, you can buy it online for $10).
:o[
I'd make a plan and download that content before you carry on playing if I were you. It gives the game a fresh angle when you start, but I don't want to post any spoilers.
Played for around six hours last night. Solving crime, punching thugs in the face, ogling Harley Quinn, the usual. Love the light-grinding aspects that are present, and the game world is so beautifully crafted and impressive.
Indeed. I do all my downloading on a 384 line.
I find it funny that absolado, the guy that posted hundreds of megabytes of videos and screenshots is complaining about a smallish DLC. :p
I find it cynical that you always feel the need to add your two pence in everything I do, even on matters like this. It's fine if you abhor me, but jeez man, give it a break.

No need to get so defensive. I'll stop though. Sorry.
OT: Is playing Arkham Asylum right to the end important to the story of this? I played pretty far on a (pirate) copy a year or two ago and now that I own the Steam version I don't really want to go through all of it again just to get to the point I was at.
