Guys, at this point I'm point in time I'm floating around Jo'burg because some telecommunications company dragged me all the way here from my beloved Namibia. I won't be here long as they're sending me off to Durban on thursday.

However, seeing as I'm here, I figured this would be good point in time to upgrade my ****ty little cellphone to a sparkly new Nokia N97. I've had my eye on one for a while now but I figured I'd get a better price here than in Windhoek.

Those hopes were kind of dashed yesterday as I walked through Sandton Mall and realized that "holy ****, this place is expensive". R7600 for a N97? YEAH RIGHT! I could've gotten one for 5500 in Nam. What the hell am I doing here?

As it turns out though, there are some online shops which offer this sweet, sweet phone for less than 4500 here in jo'burg and will deliver it right to your doorstep. I'm a bit anxious about buying from a site I don't know, though.

This is where you fine people come in. I've found three places that offer good deals and I was hoping for some confirmation from you guys as to whether I'm doing a smart thing.

So what do you guys think? Good idea? Dumb idea? Any previous experience with the above mentioned places? The reviews for CaCell seem overwhelmingly good, except for one guy who got a faulty phone and is apparently still waiting for it to be replaced.

I've only bought from CACell before so I can't speak for the other shops, but I had no problems with them. Delivery came when they said it would and all was dandy, no hassles.

Well that's that then. I can pick it up tomorrow. If it wasn't a holiday I'd already have it.
