Inspired by Asian mythology and fused with science fiction, ASURA?S WRATH will redefine the action genre by delivering unprecedented levels of dynamism, drama and interaction. Once a revered deity, Asura was betrayed by his fellow gods and stripped of all his powers. Consumed by anger at the injustice he has suffered and swearing vengeance, Asura discovers he can use this fury to his advantage and turn it against his enemies.

By channelling his inner rage, Asura is now able to unleash devastating attacks and wreak havoc as he battles against the deities who have wronged him and their earthly forces. Inspired by episodic dramas, ASURA?S WRATH will be split into distinct sections with gameplay and narrative unfolding as one and building to a final climatic conclusion.

Judging by the screenshots, this game looks like the bastard love child of a devil may cry, darksiders and Gurren Lagaan threesome.

There's going to be quite some strong ties to God of War, particularly from the story. From what I gather, Asura's Wrath revolves around a former deity seeking revenge against gods who had betrayed him and stripped him of all his godly powers.

Not that I'm bothered myself, but it will puff up some tails.

I'm just anxious to see how the game feels when played.

Yes, because former gods looking for revenge against betrayer gods is SO totally unique to God Of War, that totally invented the idea. *rolls eyes* :P

Meh. No doubt the fanbois will scream GOW rip-off. **** em. This game looks incredible. I watched the trailer 4 times already and loved every part of it. Loved the character designs and the fact that the game, is inspired by asian mythology (which is a personal interest of mines). I'm sold, on what I've seen so far.

It's a chi-powered stache. :P Like Goku's hair, buddha's stache grows, every time he levels up. Well, that would be my guess, anyway. :P

Hmm, I can't seem to find any new details about this game. :< Really eager to see what the gameplay is like. It's been stated that the game plays like a cross between Naruto and GOW. Which sounds fan-****ing-tastic and further fuels my excitement.
